A charming Villa

Hotel in a very nice villa. Very friendly staff and the right breakfast. The room was a bit curious, there was a hall with a large pendulum clock and in the room we had a terrace that overlooked the garden, we had a very nice fireplace and on the other side the very large bathroom. We had a very nice stay. Having the parking inside the villa was a plus

Very good place

A very, very quiet place that is very central, but at the same time is "hidden" away from all noise. Large and comfortable rooms, with a pool for relaxation on the premises. Good breakfast.

Great location, comfortable bed, quiet room and fantastic breakfast!

I did a bunch of research before booking and this bnb aligned with everything that we had hoped for. I booked this place given it's proximity to the bus stop at the train station - a ten minute walk - to go up to Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle. Apparently, a second bus stop even closer to Villa das Rosas recently opened according to the front desk here. However, we decided to take an uber instead of the bus to save time when the morning arrived to beat the crowds up the hill. This place was fantastic though!! I felt like I was at a yoga retreat. The grounds were lush and quiet, and there was a pool too! I almost wish we had stayed there another night so we could've had more time to just relax by the pool for a few hours, but we were constantly on the move on this trip. We were in room 13, which was a really cool room with a medieval vibe to it (but a very modern bathroom) yet no evil spirits. The room was neat, clean and quiet. The mattress was a bit on the hard side but nowhere near as bad as some of the mattresses in other places that we stayed, which for some reason became a consistent theme on our two-week trip through San Sebastian and Portugal. Because we had a rental car and only stayed here only the one night before our action packed day in Sintra, the free parking that was on the property (not just on the street) and being allowed to leave our car there all day after having already checked out was a HUGE plus, and they let us leave our luggage in a safe place until we returned towards the end of the day when we finally left Sintra. I would definitely stay here again if back in Sintra!

A sweet feeling. Between the space and the discomfort of the rooms.

The rooms need a deep refurbishment to the level of comfort. Mattress and pillows super uncomfortable. Poor acoustic insulation. And the full mould is one of the reasons for my dissatisfaction. Very good breakfast. Very nice surrounding space with a friendly pool. Parking park a little small and closed (like everything in Sintra).
