Great place

Found this place as I was on a solo motorcycle tour on the ACT Portugal. Location was spot on. Was right on the end of day ones route . Room was clean and tidy 2 double beds and one single . Bathroom with shower. Kitchen area with table . Outside seating area to have a drink and watch the sunset. Parking available

Rural Property. Quite Comfortable

This was a difficult place to find even with our sat nav. It's located some way out of town so a taxi required if you want to visit a restaurant. The place is on a farm and the rooms are new. Quite comfortable with a good bathroom. Breakfast is taken in an adjoining building and was simple but adequate. There is no problem parking right outside your room. An OK experience.
PS. It's an ostrich!

Neat place on hillside just outside Torre de Moncorvo

Quintas do Valbom was a pleasant surprise. It's a quirky sort of farm/motel on a lovely hillside about 2 km from the center of Moncorvo, Need a car or taxi to get there unless you are hiking through. Cesar, the host, gave us a basket of espresso caps and fresh fruit when we arrived. The room had a nice bathroom and kitchenette as well as spacious bedroom. Lovely views across the valleys. There's a pool and farm animals - chickens and what we think is an emu!

A éviter, loin de la ville, auncun contact, échange avec les propriétaires

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hébergement. Les propriétaires n'habitent pas sur place, on ne les a pas vu, c'est comme un hôtel. Donc nous n'avons eu aucun contact, juste une personne pour nous donner les clefs, encaisser l'argent uniquement en liquide... pas de possibilité d'avoir un petit déjeuner. C'est totalement impersonnel, très diffèrent des autres avis ... Nous avons été déçu car nous l'avions sêlectionner pour son aspect «agri turismo» et pensions échanger avec les propriétaires.

Petits studios sympa dans une "Quinta"

Simples mais confortables, petits studios bien équipés, propres. Ménage fait tout les jours. Propriétaire charmant, se débrouillant en français.
Très calme, au milieu de la nature, idéal pour partir à la découverte du haut Douro.
