We spent 2 quiet nights here.

Nice place by the sea, clean, uncomplicated, everything available. The only drawback for winter is the cold shower rooms. Small restaurant within the square with very delicious, partly homemade food, lovingly prepared by the warm Ana. Dogs are very welcome here! We would definitely come back!

Good option for joining beach and city visits

The camping site Orbitur Canidelo is located in Vila Nova de Gaia. It is relatively distant from Porto, but offers the advantage of being by the seaside. It is not very spacious and tends to be a bit cramped. The reception was professional. The sanitary facilities were very clean. There is a restaurant, a swimming pool and a small shop. This is a good option for those who want to join leisure at the beach with city visits. It is however not advisable, if you want to concentrate only on the city discovery...

Great location

Great location and facilities are a little tired but still ok, pool great, restaurant friendly with great prices. Local area is fantastic for walking & cycling plus you can get to Porto cheap using UBER. We will return as it’s just a great site & atmosphere in this area.

Great spot for a coastal delight

Never again! Not as good as it used to be

The camping is okay. Not very good facilities. The pool is closed till may and the showers are cold. The cafetaria was closed without a warning and when I went to the manager so laughed in my face about my complaint. She was disrespectful and rude. She did not apologize and didn’t do anything to make a good conversation. Never in my life I was treated this rude by a manager. Orbitur canidelo, never again.
