Discovery of the Desprairies farm inn

We thank the Desprairies farm inn for its warm welcome. We had a very pleasant and friendly time. The food is prepared with love and is excellent.

Enjoy your stay in Matouta

Stay from May 14 to 16 (3 couples) very pleasant in a green and quiet place! The innkeeper and his family are welcoming, caring, and attentive to special needs: adapted diet.
The rooms are clean and spacious. The meals and breakfasts are plentiful and varied.
We recommend this establishment.

Warm stay

We spent 5 nights at the hostel, warmly welcomed and cared for by Willy, his sister and his mom.
We were able to take advantage of their sharing on this beautiful region to organize our days.

A perfect stay at La Ferme Auberge Desprairies!

"We spent an exceptional night at La Ferme Auberge Desprairies, located in the beautiful highlands of Saint-Joseph in Réunion. From the moment we arrived, we enjoyed the parking space reserved for guests, a real plus for tranquility.
The room was both beautiful and very comfortable, offering a relaxing setting for our night. The welcome and service were truly top: the staff is friendly, professional and warm, and the family atmosphere makes the experience even more enjoyable.
We also had the chance to enjoy the evening Creole meal (offered at 30€ subject to a sufficient number of reservations), which was not only hearty but also absolutely delicious, prepared with fresh and quality products. Breakfast included followed the same lineage, with a beautiful diversity of fresh and excellent farm produce.
An appreciable additional service is the possibility to rent a jacuzzi (rate varies depending on the duration), ideal for relaxing.
To conclude, our stay at La Ferme Auberge Desprairies was a fully conclusive experience, so much so that we already intend to renew it. We highly recommend this property and rate it 5 out of 5!"

Good starting point for day trips in the south

We were here from March 24th to 26th, 2024. Very clean, sanitary area recently renovated. It is a bit remote, but is definitely a suitable starting point for tours in the region. Decent breakfast, we couldn't book half board because we were the only guests in the hotel and the host only offers an evening menu for groups of 4 or more guests. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is no air conditioning, but an efficient ceiling fan, which is sufficient if the outside temperatures are not too high.
