Lovely local friendly hotel with a great breakfast

We spent one night in this lovely hotel just outside of Baia Mare (city centre is about 15mins drive from hotel). We felt very welcome right from the start thanks to the very friendly and professional staff.
Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, with a comfortable bed. The hotel was very quiet and there is plenty of (free) car parking space.
Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have had in Romania, with lots of locally made products, and a nice selection of hot and cold food. Also the breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We will definitely stay here again when next in Baia Mare.

Excellent

The stay here was really enjoyable. Good bed, minibar, the bathroom was really pretty and had good amenities.
The overall vintage vibe of the hotel was something I am glad I could see in Transilvania. The breakfast also was pretty good with enough options. The only thing I would say that needs to be improved is maybe upon arrival to be sure to get all the info you need. I am glad I stayed in this hotel

Exceeding expectations

Great throughout, Western-grade hotel, perhaps the best place to visit the Maramures or make a stop. Friendly, smiling and discreet staff. Large, quiet and cool rooms. Please note that Saturday and Sunday breakfast, really super, is served from 8 am.

EXCELLENT BUSINESS HOTEL

Located in the west side of the city, on the way to Satu-Mare. Easy accessible, own parking (big). Good size rooms and bathroom. Clean. Excellent breakfast (actually one of the best i know for this category).
