Just fabulous!

What a great location and accomodation. I already recommended it to several people, because it's really worth staying there. The GuestHouse is super clean, a pretty design and everything you needed for a good stay at Bran. The owner is super nice as well.

Modern and Very Clean; Convenient and Safe! Definitely a Place to Return To!

The proprietor, John, has this location and another one a little way outside of town called the White House – and he is definitely knowledgeable about building B&Bs that are conducive to comfortable and clean accommodation for traveling guests!
Clean, spacious, and with an incredible view of the Castle Bran – this guest house is literally only about a five minute walk to town, and an eight minute walk to the castle! Appointments are modern, the bed is comfortable, and the room is light and bright with some great views!
John probably greeted us with more enthusiasm and more local knowledge than even a native Romanian - he built his business here because he loves the location, and that shows in the way he treats his guests – this is definitely a place we will be coming back to!

Room with a view

We stayed here for a couple of nights -had a nice spacious room on the second floor with a great view of Bran Castle. We had breakfast on the first morning which was so plentiful that we were able to keep some for lunch also! Having use o f the kitchen with kettle and fridge was a bonus and also the garden where we spent a few hours in the shade reading and again enjoy the view. There’s parking spaces available on the property. Iona was very friendly and helpful- it’s a great place to stay.

The best stay! 5 Stars!

The rooms were amazing! The location is 2 minute walk from the castle. My room was facing the castle and with an amazing view! The house has everything to include kitchen, living room, and great outdoor area for the kids. Great stay!

Great base for self guided walking holiday

We stayed as a private walking group of 16 persons and had a great time. The owners John and Ioana were extremely helpful and sociable. We learned a lot about the country and advice was on hand whenever needed support for our adventure. The accommodation was excellent (including the extra rooms we needed at their other property up the hill in Sohodol). The breakfasts were particularly special with many homemade delicacies. We also had most evening meals in the Guesthouse and found them good value with some very tasty homemade local puddings. The area was great for walking and over 8 days we walked 65 miles and climbed around 13,500ft. The paths were good and mostly well marked. We did need transport but the owners were able to explain the best options. We have left our itinerary and gpx routes at the Guesthouse if anyone would like to use them. There are also many nearby places to visit (especially Bran Castle, Brasov and Rasnov) for those looking to be normal tourists.
