Great stay at the Holiday Inn Bucharest

This is a great place to stay in Bucharest. It's not a central location to old town, but there's a bus stop one minute from the hotel, bus #104. It's about a 15-20 minute ride to old town, depending on traffic. We arrived from Bucharest Airport, Tram #1 has a stop near the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet area, sleek elevators and well maintained rooms. We ate all our evening meals there, different options of meals available, kind wait staff that includes the breakfast folks as well. We loved our stay here.

Amazing stay! Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The hotel was spotless, the staff was kind and professional, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great rooms, location not central

Nice hotel rooms, location is not close to city center, no pool. No room service. I would stay again but it's nothing special. The rooms are spacious and modern.

With Holiday Inn, one is almost always safe; the room and bathroom are clean and spacious, excellent breakfast buffet, courteous staff, great restaurant at competitive prices compared to similar external options, well-stocked minibar at reasonable prices, and daily refill of water bottles in the room (complimentary). Nice gym, perhaps one less cycling machine and one more exercise machine would be better. A few minor defects (armchair with torn upholstery) but generally a good solution.

A lovely hotel just away from the Old Town area

We stayed here for 3 nights as a Diamond Elite member. Checked in quite late after an evening at Therme Spa.
The lovely Mihaela gave us a lovely welcome, explained that the room had been upgraded from a Standard Queen to a King Suite. This was really appreciated.
We opted for breakfast as a welcome amenity. But I remembered we had to leave at 7am the next morning, so Mihaela arranged a packed breakfast for us at the last moment, very professional and kind. Nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was quiet, in a nice neighbourhood with restaurants nearby. Around €5 in a taxi to the old town, there is also a metro station nearby but we didn’t use it.
The room was lovely, modern, super clean. Great AC and great WiFi. Minibar was well stocked and we had room service one evening, the food was nice and it was quick. Good value also I might add.
From many of the Holiday Inn’s I’ve stayed in, this ranks as one of the best due to lovely staff and everything working very perfectly.
I’d therefore recommend you consider it for a stay in Bucharest.
