One of the best!

Clean rooms, spacious and close to the beach and city center.
Breakfast is very good, a big variety of products you can have.
Check in can be made starting with 16.00, which is a minus from my side.

Saved our vacation

Booked an apartment quite late, as the hotel we usually go to, suddenly closed.
Small hotel, cozy, probably a renovated historical building. Beach nearby, close to the Peninsula area, the #1 attraction of the city, with the Casino, and tourist port, etc.
We had breakfast included, with 3 options of menu, brought to our door at the time indicated. They allowed us to order through FoodPanda, which was very nice.
Friendly staff, enjoyable, everything working in the rooms, really met, and at times exceeded our expectations.
Only one concern: limited number of parking spots, and cannot make reservation (so not guaranteed). During our stay we never had to look for a spot elsewhere, but once or twice we got the very last spot available.
Conclusion: I do recommend this hotel, and will most likely return there.

Art-deco hotel with great location

Art-deco building, decently renovated, close to Modern beach and city center. Scapino restaurant is just across the road and Irish Pub is not far away. The room is quite spacious and has a small balcony, ideal for smokers. The furniture is a bit out-dated, yet functional. The concierge girl was very kind and pro-active. Breakfast starts at 7, but I missed it because I had to leave earlier. However, the receptionist offered me a coffee. All in all, it's a good choice for business travelers.

Our stay at Ferdinand Hotel in Constanta

(Read down below for summary as pros and cons). This hotel has offered me and my friends a lot of disadvantages at the cost of only one advantage,so I will start with the only advantage of this hotel:the location, which I need to agree that it was very convenient, being less than five minutes from the beach in Constanta. That being said,I can only express my dissatisfaction with this hotel, caused by multiple reasons that i will write below.
To begin with,I wish to mention the petty disadvantages which ,combined to the other "misfortunes",ensured a "marvelous" accomodation:they did not give us any toilet paper, the cleaning was certainly underperforming, entering our room even when we specificaly asked then not to do it,and most of the furniture and technology was very old,and not in the good,"vintage" way.The air conditioner was really old and it sounded like a lawnmower to be honest.Oh,and I forgot to mention the fact that the furniture was also "low budget" having a "plastic" feel to it,since I can't explain it in other words(The door to the bathroom could not even get locked,so you can tell that the privacy was "to infinity and beyond").The room(and probably the hotel itself) definitely needed a renovation, considering the dirty, aged walls.I also need to mention the fact that the breakfast was below average, offering a poor variety of food, which was also of inferior quality. The point that I am trying to prove here is that a lot more had been expected from a three-star hotel.
The reality is that I wouldn't have bothered myself to write this review if not for the "main" disadvantages, which really annoyed me and made my stay way less pleasant. To explain myself,I will tell you that the staff were absolutely horrible.I can't really recall a moment when they treated us nicely,as I think we at least deserved that, giving the fact that we paid a huge amount of money for this accomodation(aproximately 1200 euros for a 4-nights stay, including all the other extra costs that they asked us to pay for no real, adequately explaied reason other than pure callousness). When I bought the room for me and my friends they clearly specified the fact that the room was for six people, yet when we arrived there they told us that the room was for four people, and they forced us to pay more for the fifth person,so we paid a whole lot of extra money. They also forced us to pay for minibar consumptions which we did not even make. They were really, really rude to us,calling us every now and then for bringing other friends to our room as guests for 2 hours at most, asking money from us for a poor visit being considered a whole night of accomodation. What is worse is that they simply won't give up on sarcasm and irony when adressing to us,which is unheard of in my experience,so their rudeness was through the roof.
In conclusion,I definetely would not recommend a stay at this hotel, regarding the low quality services and staff without manners and any form of respect for their costumers whatsoever.
To sum up,i have the following pros and cons:
+location
-furniture
-bad room technology
-fairly dirty
-poor breakfast
-The staff as a big con

My review on Hotel Ferdinand in Constanta

First of all, the accomodation was very expensive, but at least the hotel was near the beach. They kept asking money from us for unknown reasons, like asking even more money when we arrived because we were 5 and the room was for 6. Also they told us to pay for the minibar even though we didn't consume anything. They didn't come to clean the room, didn't bring any toilet paper, the air condioner worked badly and most importantly, they were very disrespectful.
In conclusion, I can't recommend this hotel because it was too expensive, wasn't well dotated, they didn't clean the room and treated us with disrespect.
