Very nice stay!

Room was amazing! I don't know why I liked it so much but I did. At the same time comfy and 'homy'. They are also very spacious. Everything nice and clean. Flat screen TV in the room.
The lady who is the owner I assume doesn't speak english but it wasn't a major issue - we got things sorted eventually :)
The only strange thing for me was a brefast. You have to give a time you want to eat and it is going to prepared for you. There will be just you and the lady who prepares it - no music, no other people - a bit strange situation if you can't really speak to each other as you speak different languages. Not sure what the choices are as there was no menu ... The very basic bakery, coffee/tea, one youghurt and jam. We got omlet prepared so not sure f there were any other options as we could not understand :)
And maybe one more minus - this is kind of a big house - few floors and few rooms. The house is being locked all the time. You get a key to the room but do not get key to the house so need to ring every time you come back if the door is close. Just thinking how it would work if somebody wanted to stay out long at night... ?

Something different

At first, I was a little skeptical about the place. Once I entered, every bit of skepticism disappeared. The room was enourmous, flat TV, very clean, high speed wi-fi and very warm. Breakfast was more than enough. The staff is friendly. If again in the area, definitely I'll book there again.

Really nice

It was a really nice surprise to see how nice the rooms are. Everything was nice and the person from the reception was really polite.
At about 300m from The hotel is the city center and all the nice restaurants.

A very pleasant surprise

Looking at the place from outside and at the area around it, you wouldn't assume much about it. However, once you're inside you're greeted with lots of hospitality and you feel even more welcome as you step into a huge, clean room. Another treat for us was the fact that they'd turned on the air conditioning before we arrived so we found a very refreshing atmosphere after a long trip.
Pros:
- Huge clean room with balcony
- Fairly close to city center
- Welcoming host
- Free parking
- Fast internet
- Filling breakfast
- Some rooms have view of citadel
- Great value for money
Cons: Couldn't really say we were unhappy with anything about this place, but if I were to nitpick I'd note:
- No elevator
- Building doesn't look too appealing (only from the outside. The inside makes up for it.)
- Limited breakfast space - only two tables (the receptionist asked us when we want to eat, so she could make sure there's space though, so it was all ok)
- Not a very attractive area (however, seems safe and within walking distance from old town and citadel)

An ok place to crash

The room we stayed in did not have a balcony, instead it had some relatively small windows situated on the upper third of the wall; They had no insects net so we couldn't open them. As a pro the view was towards Deva's citadel and there was air conditioning.
The sheets didn't seem exactly clean. The bathroom was modern and clean, but it didn't have a "disinfected" label and individual items like shower gel, shampoo, soap. There was only a soap and shower gel dispenser and they only gave us one set of towels although we were 2 persons.
The location is near the city centre , you can have breakfast for 2 €. A night costs 35€. It has 4 parking spots.

Very good location
