Air conditioning not working and sewer smell from bath

I want to start off saying hotel staff were helpful and kind. We checked in and got our things in the room and headed out for sightseeing. We had closed the windows and turned the air on. When we returned, the room was hot and the room smelled like a sewer. The front desk immediately changed us to another room. We kept the bathroom room closed and the bathroom window open, so it did not get too stinky in the new room. But the bathroom filled with bugs by morning. Not only did the new room not get cool the whole night, but it was unreasonably hot.
In the morning, hotel staff offered another room change, but we decided to go to another hotel.
The room itself is fine. There was plenty of room. Beds was comfortable, but chairs were not. Mini bar was well stocked, but fridge was not cold, so the drinks were room temp.

I have used this hotel on several occasions. It’s better and a lot cleaner than most of the hotels with the same price tag in Timisoara. Only this time I felt the standard had fallen a bit. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. There was just one pillow which was very soft and flat and the breakfast wasn’t so great. Overall a clean and roomy place with easy access secured parking
