The location does all the work
When we arrived we had a great "ciorba de perisoare" for dinner. During our stay(2nights) we talked with two ladies from the staff who tried to help us with everything we needed. If you want to eat something, you have to announce in the morning so they can make time to prepare the dinner or lunch. The breakfast was okish for 6 euro and we really appreciate that the staff waited for all the quests to eat something even if they woke up at 11.30 and the breakfast ended at 10. The house is nice. Not too traditional but not too modern either. We had room number 10. Impeccable sheets, bathroom, towels and the entire room looked like a 4 stars hotel regarding cleanliness. We slept very good, the bed was quite nice with a very comfortable mattress. There was a leak from the under the shower whenever we showered but they said they will take care of this in the future. The garden was splendid. I could have stayed here for a month and for sure I wouldn't got bored of the view, silence and fresh air. There are two hammocks to lay in all day long and two wood patios if you want to hang out in the evening near the grill. There is also a big football court outside and a ping pong table at the basement.
I would come here again anytime soon and I'm sure they will improve the services provided. Maybe they can use some outfits for the staff members so we can figure out who is the manager, the receptionist, the waiter etc. or maybe they can do something so the wooden doors wouldn't make so much noise when are closed. The things I enjoyed most was the cleanliness, the view from our window from every morning and the outside time spent relaxing.

Beautiful place in an amazing area
This place is great: amazing view; spacious, comfortable, clean rooms; attentive host but not intrusive; decent food (breakfast and dinner). we stayed 2 nights and the room was quiet even though the room faces the main road. there are options to spend time as the tennis court (but we didn't use it as we biking trips). the owner was really helpful and did the best so as we have a welcoming stay, which we did. breakfast is generous and good. For dinner, I would choose other options although alternatives are limited and you need a car to reach them. However, they offer decent Romanian food, but a bit too pricey for what you get. also, the bottled water is expensive if you decide to buy it from the location - 8 RON (actually, I cannot understand how a water at such type of accommodation gets to be so expensive). Still, these aspects are less important and in the end this is a great place to stay. I really appreciated the availability of the host for late check-out so it is nice to see that they are attentive to such aspects. I would definitely stay here again. wifi is not working in the rooms.

A place to avoid
The location and the facilities are quite good. Unfortunately, the people taking care of the place do not understand the very basics of customer care. Rude, aggressive and loud for no reason, these people are in the wrong job, ruining it for everyone who uninspiringly chooses this place to stay at.

Awful staff...take reservations online and don't respect it...
We booked here a room for a few days using booking.com. After 2 days we called to confirm the reservation, but the owner told us, they don"t have other bookings for the other rooms, and they won"t fulfill their duty toward us. That was just one night before our check inn. I never ever had this happening to us. The owner said they can reommend other inn's....but it wasn't what we wanted. I wonder what would of happened if we didn't call to confirm the reservation...

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful village in the mountains
I highly recommend this pension for numerous reasons:
1. Great view of the mountains. Fundata is a great village that still preserves the features of an isolated, quiet, green mountain village. And the pension fits perfectly.
2. Clean, beautifully furnished rooms, new but still keeping a vintage look.
3. Good food. And the kitchen is flexible (we for example don't eat pork, so the owner fixed us a pork-free menu). At breakfast, most of the food seemed local (the milk, the cheese), which added value to the menu.
4. If it rains (it did in the days we stayed there), there are several activities you can do at the villa: tennis table, outdoor chess, grill etc.
5. Good price for the services it provides.
It is indeed a bit noisy outside because of the high voltage line near the pension, but it is really not a problem (at least not to us).
