It's worth a try...

The villa is in the middle of the city, amidst the blocks of inhabitants. The rooms are exactly that in the pictures. The kindness of the staff is appreciated.
The problem is the breakfasts. Egs (3 forms of preparation), ham, salami, cremwursti, coffee, tea. That's all. But, if you stay several days ...
I ate only one breakfast at the villa. In the rest ... in the city.
You have where.
Overall I liked it.

Standards have dropped

Me and my wife have been staying here on and off for quite a few years. Our most recent stay was for two weeks in August. This time we had our two children with us.
We paid for an extra bed (cot beds are not available for infants which is extremely outdated) which was for my four year old daughter and this was a metal frame with a thin mattress, not worth the extra fee if I am honest. After she fell out of the bed a couple of times, we asked for the frame to be removed so we could lay the mattress on the floor, only for the rudest staff member, Eduard, to almost refuse it. Eduard to me just never wanted to help out. It did not matter what the question was, the response was always negative he did not care about helping.
One of the most disappointing changes is that there seems to be no towels, bedding or cleaners available. We almost had to beg for them. Eduard , again was very relaxed and told us that there are not any available. The rule is that they are changed every three days. After six days, we were very frustrated and had to have discussions with each member of staff before being given fresh towels and bedding. It was nothing short of disgraceful.
The apartment itself was of its normal standard. They are quite spacious and clean if you ask for a dustpan to sweep up yourself. The showers are quite small and they are not cleaned very well. The kitchen is nice. The TV was locked, we could not use our firestick here which was a huge pain. We were told that guests steal the remote controls and take them home and this was the reason we could not change the HDMI. Punishing every guest is not a fair policy in my eyes.
On our first night, we did not have any air conditioning because the remote would not work. We would have left the following day if we were not given the correct remote control for our air conditioning (which was apparently the issue).
The were light bulbs missing in every room and the curtain pole was hanging off the wall. Drawer units that were on rollers and did not stay closed because of the floor level I imagine. Even the signs for the hotel were broken or lights were not working.
After asking Eduard why the cleaners were not changing the bins, he said that we could empty them in the main bin just to the right of the apartment block. The bin which was a kitchen bin, what a farce.
I did ask if anyone could give me the details for the owner but nobody seemed to know the name of them. I will find out and report these things back to them.
The only positive to take away was a receptionist called Christian, he really helped us out. He is such a nice person. Thanks.
We are considering taking our annual trips elsewhere from now on.

Unfriendly night staff and poor comfort

-Very good prices and clean rooms.
- 24/7 reception and free parking
- Good WiFi
-We felt judged and not welcomed the second we entered this hotel. The night staff was quite snobbish. We were happy to see that the day staff was way more sympathetic and friendly.
- No de post/vegan options for breakfast, which we expected in a 4-star hotel. Only margarine, jam, bread and fruits would have been sufficient. This really is a bad point.
-The mattress was less comfortable than a tent mattress and we could feel pieces of metal behind our backs.
- Kitchen with almost no equipment (only cutlery and sauce pan).
- Shower way too tiny and the quantity of soap samples enables to wash a quarter of a human body.

Visit to the Corvin Castle

We booked 1 room for one night in April2019. Is nice that there is a small kitchen in every studio. Also property have free parking space. Very friendly staff. The part that is not so good is about temperature setup, you must go to the reception desk to ask them to modify the temperature because the thermostat is locked in every room. Each room has its own gas boiler. Also another part not so good is the bed mattress. As a conclusion is a nice place to stay.
