A very pleasant surprise. Very good restaurant

Though we've arrived at 10 pm, we were still able to order a dinner. Everything was very good. I highly recommend the hotel restaurant. Our 3-bed room was spacious, clean and correctly warmed. Breakfast in the morning is more than enough and it includes various options for omelettes or sunny-side eggs, plus usual ham, salami, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, etc. Hotel position is just a few km from A1 highway.

Avoid if you are in a hurry!

It was the second time now that we've been to this restaurant and had to wait roughly one hour for our food. We couldn't have not even the soups earlier than 45 minutes even though we asked the waitress a couple of times since we were there with 2 kids. When we got the soups one of them was too warm and the other one almost cold which is very weird since they were of the same kind!
The rest of the dishes were not bad (that's why 2 stars and not only 1) but nothing extraordinary either.
Overall, if you are very hungry or in a hurry do not chose this restaurant!

Nice place, good food

The place looks pretty nice. It has a lovely garden and also a nice ballroom where they hosts lots of events. Plus they have a nice restaurant with pretty good food and the service is very prompt. They have also pheasants which you can see walking around the gardens. Overall not a bad place, you can at least enjoy a good meal if you don't plat to stay at the hotel.

No, nu, nem!

Nu este ieftin, nu este de calitate, iar pentru micul dejun trebuie sa te rogi si tot nu il primesti, desi este inclus in pret!
It is expensive, lacks quality services and you will have to beg for your breakfast and still won't get it, though it is included in the price. Unfair and unworthy!

Slept in a room without windows, no card accepted, unfair EUR exchange rate

We reached this hotel as travelers through Romania. I was astonished to see that our booked room has no windows (the room name Syria, but probably it is the same case for Roz). A window existed, but was locked and going to another room anyway. Another small window exists in the bathroom, but you will not want to keep the bathroom door open. The heavy air in the room was already breathed probably 100 times.
Since they had no other room and we were very tired, we had no choice, we stayed.
We had no cash RON, therefore wanted to pay by credit card, but the POS of the hotel is not functioning. We were forced to pay cash in EUR at a penible exchange rate of 1 EUR = 4 RON.
No worth to argue with the guys at the reception, they have all the arguments in the world. It is your fault anyway.
As an example, I said that despite I dislike to negociate, in this case for such a room it is no worth the price we had to pay. The answer was "oh yes, you like to negociate, but you are only diplomatic [...] the boss says that this is no market place [...] if I give you a discount I have to pay it from my pocket". I received many other argumets, but these irritated me.
One plus-point for the amability of other personnel and for keeping our cooling batteries in the refrigerator.
Never again.
