Nice and cozy
I am writing this review after a 4-night stay around New Year’s Eve. The room (single room) was small (stayed at the attic level) without a closet, but clean, nice and cozy (hate the carpet color which looked dirty). The bed was large, the mattress was very soft and consequently the sleep was good.
Nice view from the windows, unfortunately the elevator was not available for the 8th and 9th floor (I love stairs!). The bathroom was small; no bathtub; the shower too complicated and partly functional.
The restaurant looked nice. The food was very good and various (breakfast, brunch, special meals). The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not use the pool or the sauna. Good location!

Inhospitable staff
We wished of spending a night at the mountains and the idea of a 4-star hotel in Sinaia didn't sound bad at all. When we got there, we were greeted by a sour gentleman at the reception, presenting us, with a passive-aggressive attitude, the facilities available at the hotel. The two "extra" questions we asked made him give an even bigger impression of angriness and rudeness. The room was relatively clean, but, as the Romanians usually do, the required facilities for the 4-stars awarded to the hotel were there just to be.. That is: a very tiny room, a very small TV, bathrobes, towels and bed sheets in a degraded state, a mini-bar instead of a proper mini-fridge, COLD in the ROOM and in the rest of the hotel, etc. We wanted to check out the swimming pool and the sauna, finding out that the pool was incredibly small and also inspired unsanitary conditions. Later we went by the hotel's restaurant, wanting to eat 2 pancakes, for which we had to wait ~35 minutes (note that the restaurant wasn't facing an overload or anything as such), and another 10 for the bill. The breakfast was satisfying, being the reason why I'm giving it 2 stars, instead of one. When we wanted to leave, we found a lady at the reception, who seemed inexperienced and clearly overwhelmed by the situation. Personally, I was disappointed. The 4 stars seem very unfair, rather deserving 2-3, in my opinion. In conclusion, if it's not taken as a backup solution, I do not recommend it. I'm sure there are many better options around Sinaia or in it's proximity.

Decent, but overpriced
We stayed one night over the weekend this June - 2 couples.
First of all, the spaces are really small (rooms, pool). The furniture is worn out, some things in the room are not working well (if at all) - the hair dryer in our room, for instance, did not work at all, we requested another one and never received it. There is no air conditioner in the room and the windows do not have mosquito nets. In our case, the breakfast was modest - the quality of the food was not great and if you got there a bit late, chances were that half of the available types of food was gone. The pool is incredibly small and poorly maintained and the room is poorly ventilated.
However, the view from the room is amazing, the hotel is located in a really nice and quiet area and there is a beautiful and well maintained garden with a few tiny gazebos which are perfect for spending the evening playing board games with your friends. We also appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff was.
Overall, this is a decent accommodation, but definitely not worth its 4 stars and quite overpriced for the services offered.

Terrible and dissapointing...
I am writing this review in the last day of our stay in this hotel. The over all experience is very low, even from the first day. The rooms we booked were at the most 2 star rating since the space was very small for a double room being at the most 10 sqm, worn out furniture (closet door not working, nearly falling out), non working seif and mini bar without a working fridge, dirty carpet and smelled like mold inside. The heating radiator only worked at maximum power and I found out that the mechanical termostat was loose and unfunctinal. Bathroom was fitted with a busted shower that some years ago worked as a hidro-massage wall unit. The shower hose was nearly falling apart, the shelf was missing and there was no place to put your shampoo, the molds were blooming in the corners of the shower cabin. The toilet seat was a improvisation, being smaller that the closet and barely covering the seat. The pictures will tell more...
The worst of all was the SPA with a small swiming pool poorly maintained with lighting wiring loose in the water and exposed wiring in the pool. I felt affraid that my children could pull on the wiring while swiming...
The restaurant was nice and the breakfast generous. Staff was shy and affraid to take any actions whitout the manager.
This hotel should be avoided, especialy when traveling whith the family. Very high prices and poor serices...

Nice
Rooms are nice, breakfast aaa one of the best, restaurant was very nice and cozy, food wonderfull, good service. The poti sa ceri small and crowded. Location is good, quiet, ne-ar the center of Sinaia.
