Nice stay in Vama Veche

We enjoyed the rooms and the silence, as well as the tasty breakfast and the shady parking! Our family dog was allowed to join, which was a plus. 2 other nice/ friendly dogs are on site. Our best greetings to the hosts!

More hassle than comfort.

Zen looked good online, but the reality was disappointing. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and an overall careless approach. Booking.com’s response only added to the frustration.

A very good hotel

This is a new accommodation in Vama Veche and the best I have ever tried so far. We loved it because of many things:
- big, clean, modern, nice looking rooms with a large terrace that offer great shadow even in the hottest day.
- very big and comfortable bed. The mattress is also very comfortable.
- the air conditioning that is in the hallway ceiling and it doesn’t damage your health.
- delicious breakfast with some variety every single day. You get specialty coffee in the morning and the ladies hosting the breakfast always ask if you want a fresh egg or omelette. A real 5 star service that you don’t expect in Vama - well done!
- spotless clean, good room cleaning with change of towels every day and also our bed sheets were changed.
- quiet - you hear no music from the party mile.
- refrigerator in the room if you want your cool drinks at hand.
- parking in the courtyard.
Worth the money and we are happy to strongly recommend it to all that want a good sleep & Zen stay overall with no problems or bad surprises.

Amazingly unique shop

Located in an old warehouse building near the train station in downtown Staunton, this shop is conveniently located close to parking and downtown’s vast variety of unique shops. Essentially Zen offers custom crafted soaps and bathing products that combine natural ingredients to clean, protect, and enhance one’s skin. The shop is beautiful, and the owner is friendly and helpful. After receiving my gift of body wash , I knew I had to visit the shop myself, and now plan to make it a main shopping resource. Some special products designed for men are also available, and website offers shopping options too! Try to visit this wonderful shop!!!

Absolutely Fantastic Place!!!

I stayed here from 30th April to 3rd May. This place is absolute perfection. The design of the building, the interior decor of the rooms, the feeling of the place. Really I can not fault one thing. The owners are so friendly and you just generally feel good and relaxed being here. I will definitely be back.....
