I really liked it.

The name was still intrigued at the stage of selecting the hotel. First-person hotel, offering personal comfort and hospitality coupled with a great location in the center and favorable reviews, well how to get past? Didn't pass and did the right thing. The pleasantries were quick to come. We were checked in four hours ahead of schedule when we were only expecting to add things. Thanks to the young man at reception. Room 411 Comfort Twin exceeded all our expectations. Upstairs, no neighbor on the right, minimized on the left, so the quality of sleep was as good as it gets. The view from the window is a premium one, both the Kalancha and the former KGB building. The room has everything you need and more: a kitchenette with microwave, dishes, washing. Two bottles of water, tea, coffee, hygiene products were replenished daily. The location of the air-conditioning unit in the hallway above the bathroom door was initially puzzling, but even from there it quickly cooled the room to an acceptable +18. The lack of a safe that seemed to match the status and stardom was noticeable in part of the set-up, although it didn't hurt us at all. The breakfast area is separated from the hotel lobby, with a full dispensing counter with modern equipment. Breakfasts are varied, the menu is updated, there is something to choose, and slices of watermelons have been spotted for dessert. Even champagne brute/semi-sweet was offered, the words "For a glint in the eye" under the bottle basket ended our thinking. Overall everything is stylish, modern, comfortable. A cartoon bear greets those who approach the hotel. There's a big kitten napping on the elevator table. Iron, though, and petting is necessary. Stayed at the Ya-hotel for two days, left with regret, you can stay here longer.

Almost like home.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and recommended it. Everything in walking distance - monastery, square and shopping aisles, etc. Very good-natured staff. The setting is very chambered, soulful. The food is simple, but fresh, delicious, for all tastes! The room has a bathrobe, slippers, beauty and tea facilities! The lounge on the floor has a cooler and massage chairs, and the domestic room has an ironing board and an iron. When the hotel - cake for the birthday was brought in at check-in, it felt almost home!!

Worse than expected

Stayed at the hotel on June 8-10 during a road trip from Moscow. It was one of three hotels, the other two being "trishka" in Yaroslavl and Pereslavl-Zalessky. And as a result, "I am a Hotel" was the weakest in terms of service and room environment. We had two rooms: comfort double and vip 2.
Cons of the hotel: very "frozen" staff at the reception, especially the young man (Ramil or Raville... badges are not worn, so a name to remember). And the girl is the same. They're sitting at the counter with headphones on, they won't even stand up when the guests come in, the information has to be pulled out with ticks, zero communication. In the restaurant, the chefs are more less in charge of the kitchen, and those responsible for cleaning the tables and replenishing the dishes are again “frozen”...At breakfast, you may not be able to approach or remove dirty dishes from the tables at all...
In the room vip (inflated price) strange color combinations of furniture and the rest of the interior, renovation a la early two thousand. In the bathroom there were breaks with hot water (someone already had a review about this)...There was a compliment upon arrival: a bottle of champagne "Black Sea", a small drunk and a small jar of jam...The minibar is paid for (by the way, in the 3* hotel in Pereslavl in a room of lower cost the minibar was included in the price)). Bottled water is supplied upon arrival, then you need to pour from the cooler. The cooler's full capacity is not monitored, so I had to call the front desk. In the room vip brought another bottle of water for the second night, but only one for two)))) Slippers in the room vip are the cheapest...these give out in the solarium, for example)) Again, in the three in Pereslavl were normal quality slippers.
One of the robes inside had hair of different shades and length((((
Now the advantages: location (close to all attractions); its parking; restaurant on menu (we were lucky, apparently, because we saw negative reviews) - delicious, hearty (we took shields, a plate of lard with pickles, shitty, daughter - "Caesar"), we had a positive waiter Maxim (the kids at the reception need to take lessons from him on how to communicate with guests). Well, and basically, that's it... Breakfast is like breakfast, in our other two trellis was the same)) except without the champagne, but we're not interested in it.
In conclusion, the hotel is beautiful in location, but very weak in service and requires room upgrades...

Excellent Ya-hotel in the centre of Kostroma

We stayed at the Ya-hotel in February 2025 in a standard room, the room is large, with balcony, very clean, kettle-tea-sugar, bottled water, bathroom, rooms open to a large beautiful hall with lift. Breakfasts are wonderful, varied, besides slices, salads, pancakes, different hot you can order eggs-omelette with different additives, fine desserts, champagne. On the 1st floor there is a beautiful restaurant, very delicious cooking, I advise you to dine there. Tours can be booked at reception. There is an interesting boutique with designer decorations near the reception. There's a parking lot. I-Hotel is conveniently located: 1 minute to Anastasyin Monastery, 4 minutes to Susana Square, 10 minutes to Volga, from the train station waits by taxi 10 minutes.
