Friendly, comfortable and well-run lodging in central Kigali

I was very pleased with the staff and amenities at Amakuza Residence. It started with the excellent communication before I arrived, and extended to the helpfulness while I stayed. Key people were Justus, Egide, Rodgers - they were great. And, because I was leaving early in the morning, they prepared a breakfast for me at 4 am prior to my departure. Further, the hotel is located very close to the Kigali Convention Center and is convenient to many restaurants and venues.
(Note that there is a sister hotel called Amakuza Resort, outside Kigali. Be sure to choose which one you want to stay at.)
Highly recommend a stay here - very good place!

My expectations were quite high given the online pictures that inhad seen. I guess that is why my first night was so difficult. Unfortunatley the rate tou are paying does not match room size ot the quality of the room. I hardly had any space for my two bags and the wardrobe provided did not have hang rails so i had to live out of my suitecases. The shower is right next to the sink and so once you shower the entire floor is wet. It was such an experience as some days there was no hot water in the morning and other days I was woken up by the sound of someone walking on the roof. The only bright side is that it was walking distance to the Kigali convention centre as advertised. I think the best approach is to come here with low expectations and then you will not be disapointed.

Awesome stay.

I loved this small, clean boutique hotel. Great rooms and awesome service. Thanks especially to Divine and Eschidi (sp).
There were some renovations being done to the restaurant, so I didn't get to use the restaurant.
The location is great and close to the Kigali Convention Centre which was were I spent my days.
I look forward to my next trip to Kigali as I have found a home.

Belisimo!

I loved the place. I particularly liked how the manager was responsive, and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The staff are kind and considerate. The location is excellent and the manager was helpful in getting around Kigali.

从机场到公寓不到6Km，打的需要25000法兰（差不多20美金）。公寓离会展中心不到1KM，走过去非常方便，公寓就在大马路边上，位置也很容易找，附近有华人餐馆（Alink饭店和长城饭店），走路即可到达，整体还是比较满意的。
