St. Augustine Apart and Hotel

Located about 2 km from Kigali International, and with an idyllic setting on top of the hill, this place offers breathtaking views of Kigali. Stuff was very helpful and handy, the food hearty and sumptuous with the breakfast completely giving a new meaning of the word breakfast. They offer free Wi-Fi, parking and cable TV.
I must say I enjoyed my stay here and I promise I. Will. Be. Back!

Breakfast take away

Called ahead to order take away breakfast. It was timely, cheap and delicious! They gave me much more than I expected for 4 $USD - scrambled eggs, toast, fruit and yogurt. Very filling! Would recommend!

Hotels.com is still advertising rooms at this property even though there were sold out. Upon arrival I was told that the executive room I had booked was not available but the manager made an alternative arrangement I was happy about. The place is very nice and the staff are friendly. Will definitely stay here again but will call the manager before booking.

Redefining Hospitality

BOOKING I booked via booking.com and this required no credit card and took less than 3 minutes. Upon my booking confirmation I received an email requesting my arrival details to which they had a driver there ready to pick me. He "Sean" just like the other staff was very courteous, helpful, and welcoming. He called ahead to know if I needed a big car due to Luggage, and when he picked me, he even took me to a supermarket to pick a few things. He diligently escorted me while I shopped and then promptly delivered me to the hotel
SERVICE- The receptionist at the tiny front desk received me with such natural warmth and hospitality that I forgot my tiredness for a bit. She checked me in so easily and had my bags brought up to me. She was actuality swamped with calls, clients etc yet she was very Professional, courteous and very welcoming.
The little lady that was given to take me to my room was very nice, almost wanted to help me up the stairs ha ha. But the cutest thing was when a few minutes later she struggled up the stairs with my very heavy suitcase because the bell boy seemed to be busy. My case was literally bigger than her. I hope I see her again to tip her.
ROOM, The room was a nice surprise with Little fridge, wardrobe, tv, hair drier, toiletries, slippers and bath slippers as well as a balcony that looked over neighbourhood. The mattress is a spring mattress and bedding nice and clean though too light for the cold weather. The water was hot as per your desired temperature.
The WiFi is very fast and accessible from my room which was another pleasant surprise that I took advantage of.
It may be a little off the beaten path and away from active areas so one may need to be ready for that realty.
So far I am so glad I chose this particular hotel and will continue to market it to others that may come to Kigali.
