A wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel.
A wonderful, relaxed stay at a beautiful hotel. My sister and I spent one night here at the start of our trip to Rwanda. We had flown in from the States via Addis Ababa where we had an eight-hour layover so we were exhausted when we arrived. Hemingways took exceptional care of us and we left the next morning relaxed and refreshed. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and inviting. The bathroom was enormous and we had both an indoor and outdoor shower. The bed was very comfortable as well. A lovely plate of fruit and chocolate was waiting in our room as was a nice passport cover as a gift for us. The property is just stunning with lush plants and flowers everywhere. The food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious and very plentiful. The chess set in the bar was really fun-gorillas on both sides of the board. My only complaint is that we only booked one night here! We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Rwanda.

Fusion is top tier!
Fusion presents outstanding service and a wonderful dining experience, enhanced by an excellent location and a lovely atmosphere and tasteful decor. Our server, Amani, was remarkably polite, well-informed, and professional. I highly recommend!

Top place to stay in Kigali
Lovely hotel and amazing staff. We also recommend the neighborhood walking tour - Briano was our tour guide and made it a memorable experience.

Top notch, amazing stay!
Again, I cannot say enough about our stay at The Retreat. Five star service, beautiful rooms, excellent food and the most amazing staff. We were warmly greeted for breakfast every morning by kind Isabelle. She met us with a smile and recommended we try the local tea specialty (it was delicious!). She, along with the rest of the staff, made an awesome impression upon us and we hope to return! Thank you, Isabelle, and the amazing staff at the Retreat!

Great Experience with Fantastic Service and Ambience
Excellent food and a fantastic ambience. Amani went the extra mile to make our meals feel special, and Chef Eric provided a wonderful Rwandan traditional cooking class for us as well!
