Excellent service with an à la carte trip that made us share Rwanda across the country. Good preparation and communication before. Nice welcome putting confidence with calm and courtesy. Rwanda as a family.

We came to 4 families (17 people including 9 children aged 12 to 20 months) for 2 weeks in February. Hugues and his team welcomed us beautifully. Breakfasts are sumptuous and evening meals very good. We were able to visit Rwanda and Hugues shared with us his experience of Rwanda and its inhabitants which allowed us to better understand this beautiful country

The perfect place to discover Kigali and Rwanda

Umusambi is the ideal place to stay to visit Kigali and Rwanda. The house is beautiful and full of character, the team as a whole is welcoming, the breakfast is royal. Moreover, Hugues de Suray can organize all the desired trips to, in particular, the natural parks of the country, but also in the city. Cars, drivers, accommodation. It’s just perfect. I can’t wait to get back.

Wonderful memories revived

64 years after leaving Rwanda, I turned to Hugues de Suray, "boss" of Umusambi B&B to organize a ten-day stay with various stages in this splendid country. It was beautiful because everything was planned down to the last detail and our French-speaking driver-guide was particularly well introduced in all walks of life. Thanks to Hugues de Suray I was able to review the sites I had known and admire the positive evolution of the country. Thank you, Hugues, thank you, Kassim.

Unforgettable stay

We had a great stay at this property which gives its guests a warm welcome, professional with a team listening and always ready to help. Hugh, our host, had prepared us a tour that met our wishes or more. Yves, its best driver and for us the best climber (Napoleon Island) has been throughout our activities a dedicated guide and excellent company. We intend to return next year because we want to continue the discovery of Rwanda with the same supervision. Thank you all for these memorable moments. Philip and Catherine
