I loved it!!!

Managed by Portuguese D. Helena and his friendly staff, the central Hotel is very central, very well located, exceeded our expectations: the cleanliness stands out in a cozy environment, rooms with AC, mini-fridge and wi-fi.
At PA, there are fresh fruits (mamma, banana-apple, mango, jaca, cajamanga), fresh fruit juice, bread, mixed eggs, fiambre/cheese, milk and coffee.
There is a very good and economical restaurant where we could taste several typical dishes of S. Tomé and there is a coffee/pastry.
It's hard to describe the owner's sympathy. D. Heena seemed like a longtime friend. It was tireless in the sympathy and suggestions whenever we asked for help, along with its impeccable staff that made us feel at home.
I loved this hotel! To repeat without doubt!

Great value for money

Great value for money. Central location, good room size, basic breakfast, A/C worked perfectly, clean room with good water pressure...nice balcony to watch the life below. The lady owner didn't speak English well, but nothing Google Translate can't resolve. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On one day, I found complementary pastries in my room, which was a nice touch. There is a nice supermarket next door that has everything you may need. I was able to walk in the night to get some food. It is safer than it may look at night. Some guests have reported noise feom cars on the street...didn't really affect me as I always carry ear plugs. It is easier to wear them than silence the world. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

On my last night, I was locked out and couldn't open the outside door to enter the hotel. I tried to contact the hotel using the phone number provided on Expedia, but it wasn't updated. As a result, I had to stay at a friend's house for the night.
