Strongly not recommended

Arrived after a canceled flight at 3am a bottle of water on arrival Cockroaches present in the room and on the ground floor towards the kitchens which spoiled our experience I will not return to this establishment the spa area is actually a small swimming pool

I wanted to flee when I first arrived. From the ratings I would not have chosen Cabourg. I read another review where it said Cabourg grew on the guest. Very true. Luis and staff were the best thing. The offending salmon wall color in my room did not matter anymore. I purchased a room deodorant from Auchan which did not manage the musty air. Room 20 has a fab bathroom. The coffee was made right. The fish and fries we ordered were delish. I am actually at the point thinking to come back when next Dakar

Basic, but comfortable

Had to stay at this hotel when my confirmed reservation at King Fahd was reneged by the hotel upon arrival(something that happens often apparently) and it grew on me...room is basic, but relatively clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is sparse and room service remains a lot to be desired but the highlight of the stay was the friendly and helpful staff. Always smiling and obliging.
Positives:
- friendly staff
- clean
- free wifi ( although very weak anywhere above the first floor)
- firm bed and pillows
The drawbacks:
- somewhat basic room
- bedding was not laundered often
- wifi connectivity was sketchy
- a bit off the beaten path (most taxi drivers didnt know where it was) - just tell them la Virage and they take you to the area.
