Lead Freetown

New rooms very spacious and nice with garden view. The staff is amazing and always helpful. Clean and peaceful I highly recommend as they even have fast internet and autonomous generator in case of electrical cut .

The best place to stay in Freetown

We have just left The Lead Hotel today after spending four glorious nights at the end of our 2 week tour of Sierra Leone. Even though the hotel is not presently finished with only the lower floor presently in use, it exudes quality and luxury and all staff are polite and exceptional. Without doubt when the work is completed it will be the number 1 place to stay while visiting the city. As many guests were there for meetings at their private conference room we seem to be one of very few guests staying so we virtually had their large new swimming pool to ourselves. The breakfast was top class and the best we had anywhere in the country. The rooms had everything we required and were cleaned daily.
Keep up the good work.

A good choice

Maybe the nicest and easiest going hotel in the country. It's not cheap but it is certainly an oasis in a country struggling to develop. The free shuttle to the airport boat was a perk

I had a great stay! Staff were attentive and friendly and the WiFi was strong! The view and pool are to die for. Only thing I did not love was the restaurant, I found the portions to be small for the price. I also wasn’t too impressed with the menu in general. But I loved the wait staff, they were really sharp and good for short banter.
If they are more generous with the food and improve on the offerings and flavor this would be a 10/10. But I’ll give it a solid 8.7 and I will definitely come again if all the rooms aren’t booked as they usually are.

A memorable one night at the Lead hotel was mind blowing. I am sure to stay there again for a long period of time. The service was amazing and staff incredible. Loved it!
