Inexpensive hotel near Changi Airport

Good affordable hotel near Changi Airport for a day room with a gap of 12 hours between flights. Clean and tidy room with firm bed and good aircon. Nice shower. Staff very friendly and happy to book a taxi for us. Thanks Hotel 81.

It is definitely an outdated establishment and nowhere close to the airport. There are a couple of hawker centers outside but not as appealing. My kettle did not even have a cord to plug in. The towels were old and torn. The sheets were so thin and the AC was on full blast all night. I was unable to adjust the temperature so I had to sleep with layers on. It felt more like a hostel rather than a hotel. The whole ambiance was clinical at best.

Convenient place

It was a convenient place.
Clean and calm.
Value for money.
Kembangan MRT station is very closeby.
Many food outlets available nearby.

You get what you paid for, do not set a high expectation.

Great location, but the room is not at its best condition. The aircon also did nothing, as it was freezing the whole night. However, you get the price that you paid for.
