My other home.

My alway staying favor place. Staying here every year to travel from US. The rooms needs renovation , but lobbi is beautiful. The front desk are amazing -Jan and the girl...pretty and taller - dark hair. This is alway my hoe in summer -see my Family - versus work.... will see you soon....

Beautiful hotel and super staff.

We stayed only one night but received excellent treatment. I recommend the sauna to relax after a long trip. The staff was very friendly and professional, the breakfast was excellent and varied, and the hotel facilities were outstanding. Definitely worth recommending. Good value for money.

Fantastic hotel is a beautiful city

Absolutely adored this hotel. Staff were extremely friendly (especially Jan at the front desk) and the food in the hotel restaurant was delicious. A bit far outside of the historic district, but Ubers here are extremely affordable so it's not an issue. It is also right next to the national football stadium (we caught a Slovakia vs. Romania game for less than $5). Rooms were large and beautiful, and we were even given an upgrade on one of our rooms to a suite. I wish we had stayed here more than just 1 night!

Lovely hotel just a little out of town

Had a short stay here in late March 2026. I got there quite early, just after 10am, expecting just to drop my bag, but the check in team managed to move me to a different room so I could check in straight away. There was an event on at the hotel, so it was relatively busy, but the staff were excellent and gave me all the attention that I needed.
The room was very nice with a bath, shower, and a large TV with local and international channels. There were plenty of power sockets including by the bed - no USB-C though - and the bed was very comfortable.
I had breakfast in the hotel which was varied and plentiful with a typical Doubletree mix of cooked and cold, international and local dishes. Everything that I tried was delicious, notably the local breads.
Like all of the other staff I met, those in the breakfast area where helpful, friendly and polite.
Check out was smooth and easy.
The hotel is a little out of the city, I walked to the city and it took me about 40 minutes. It was a straightforward route, and the second half of it was quite pretty through a park. An Uber back cost me less than €5.
The hotel is right beside Ondrej Nepela stadium, which hosts sports events and live music.
