It is a basic hotel, but it was perfect for what we needed , very clean, helpful staff and in a good location, if you are on budget I would recommend this hotel for you.

Suitable for those with very few expectations.

Very old hotel with a dilapidated elevator, the carpet on the stairs and in the room was dirty and had large, dated stains. The bathroom was basic with a peeling wooden door; the shower was almost unusable, in fact, I washed in pieces in the sink. The only positive note was the good and abundant breakfast, the coffee was good too (even though we had to exit the building that houses the rooms) and the linens like towels and sheets were satisfactory. It was impossible to sleep (but it is not the fault of the managers of the Petit) because right under our windows, starting at 6:30 for 12 consecutive hours, they were pouring concrete with concrete mixers running. The location was also good, very close to the historic center... just a few minutes on foot. Not recommended.

Hotel from maximum 1 star

The value for money of this property is absolutely not good. They claim to be a 3 star, but it is not at all. Only the price is from 3 stars, I paid 100€ per night for a double in low season, in Bratislava, in Vienna I spent 70€ for a real 4 stars. The room was very small, the bed put in a corner, one side of the bed facing the wall. No sockets, just a flying slipper over a noisy minifridge that we were forced to disconnect. No night light point, the only switch present for the only central light was near the door. Very dangerous step to go to the bathroom in the dark at night. During the night we could not rest because of the screams of some guests who evidently were not reprimanded by the staff of the reception, which is open 24 hours a day. Dilapidated building, barely acceptable cleaning, sufficient breakfast. It's not the first time I've booked such accommodation, but for the price I paid I expected much more. Be careful when booking because on your arrival they will ask you for a deposit of 50€ which they will return to you after checking the room. I had booked a budget room, obviously the cheapest, the others were overly expensive. Overall I would not stay there again. For us, Sardinian Carnivores on the road, it was really a disappointment.

Nothing fancy, but completely adequate stay in downtown Bratislava. The room was spacious and clean. The location is right across the street from the presidential palace. It’s about a 5 minute walk to Old Town.
