Apartment top

Building with several (budget) apartments in the center of Bratislava. Very convenient location to visit the city. My apartment for three people had a double bed, a sofa bed, a small bathroom. Small, but functional. Clean and friendly and helpful staff. Positive note kitchen that can be used in common with other apartments

No English, no party

Good position in the city center but the receptionist who received us didn't speak English.It's unbelievable for a structure situated in a capital city. He gave us no information about the hotel, no WiFi code . The room smelled like smoke. At least , we asked for a taxi for the day after to a receptionist who spoke English , but the taxi didn't come and there was nobody in the reception to ask for information. Luckily a taxi passed on the way and we stopped it.

Don't expect this hotel to honor your room reservation regardless how far in advance you make them.

I made room reservation more than 6 weeks in advance. This hotel canceled my reservation 48 hours berfore my arrival. Horrible experience. Do not expect your hotel room reservation to be honored by this property. The hotel staff flatly denied any wrong doing.

DO NOT Rely on room reservations made at thie property. You'll be stranded at the last minute.

I planned my travels/trip well in advance. I made room reservation at Penzion Gremium on the 20th of April through a third party Booking service and received confirmation. I had a no-fee cancellation date of 30th of May 2023. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights starting 3rd of June. The property had sent me an email on 30th of May asking me to cancel the reservation due to overbooking situation. I wrote to the property saying the reservation was made 40 days back and they should honor the reservation. They refused. I contacted the third party Booking company, they called Gremium, came back and told me that the reservation needs to be canceled. If the reservation was made in error, it definitely would have been detected in April of 2023. Not on the day of cancellation. I truly believe the property sold the room to someone else who may have offered more money. The property will cancel your reservation at the last minute.
