Timeless Charm Near Piešťany – A Hidden Gem at Chateau Krakovany

Just a short drive from Piešťany and Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Chateau Krakovany offers a beautiful escape into a world of old-white elegance and peaceful countryside atmosphere.
From the moment you arrive, you feel the historic charm of the place. The chateau has a calm, refined ambiance that makes you slow down and truly enjoy the experience. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, which made the stay even more pleasant.
The cuisine is honest and flavorful, perfectly complemented by a selection of local wines that highlight the character of the region. Everything feels authentic and thoughtfully prepared.
A great tip: you can also stay overnight here. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with character, this is definitely worth it.

Pleasant overnight stay

A pleasant stay overnight en route to Budapest. Rooms are clean, but basic. Aircon works fine fortunately! I think the addition of tea/coffee making facilities and bottled water, plus a mini fridge would make a huge difference. (Was the only hotel we stayed in on our trip that had nothing at all). Food was nice and not too overpriced, fortunately as there's nothing else nearby!
Best bit was the wine tasting. For 20 Euros you get an hour (we had way more), a cheese plate and help yourself to their 21 wines on display. We had great fun and bought a few bottles to take home.

Very pleasant setting

A beautiful setting for this hotel located in a wine estate.
Nice room, just missing a shower screen on the bathtub to be more comfortable in the shower.
The restaurant decorated in a medieval style is quite good and the beers served are very good beers.
In short, a hotel to save for our next visit to our local client.

Unreliable !

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Although we made reservation couple weeks ago, the receptionist cancelled our stay 5 days before planned arrival because the other receptionist made mistake! We were planning hen party for 7 people and now we don't know where we'll stay because everything is booked during this summer peak season!

Best service in Slovakia

We spent here a weekend with my partner and I can only recommend. The property itself is very nice but what overachieved my expectations was service. All people in the chateau are extremely nice, willing to help. No issues with preparing extra meals (not in menu). I can only recommend
