Great value

Tucked away upstairs this place rents out a range of decent sized basic but good value rooms and suites. We took four rooms and suites for a family ski break and everything worked out well.
There was no breakfast offer during our visit due to Covid but no worries as we bought food from Billa opposite and made coffee with the provided kettles. Route 66 bar/restaurant is just three minutes walk away.
Some of the rooms have large corner baths.
Good heating. WiFi worked perfectly. Some on-site parking. Tv had no English but we weren’t there for tv!
Reception is only open limited hours but stayed open for our early evening arrival.
A great location for skiing as Jasna Chopok of you have a car. Ski storage space available.
Good value - we would return.

Once and no more.

I wanted to stay not too far from Ruzomberok. I did not check carefully what Bonifac Pension offers, take a closer look, to avoid unpleasant surprises, please. The pension is inside the city a guess right in the centre, is it good? Depends on what you wish to do in the Lip. Mikulas.
First of all, very narrow staircase leading to room at 2nd floor. Look out when climbing. Second of all, no breakfast. Just discount in the adjacent restaurant. Starting 8.00 am, so too late if you need to go to work at 8.00 am.
Very weak internet connection, don’t count for any media through WiFi.
One good thing was that the room and the bathroom were quite big.
I think I will go somewhere else next time.

Great

Recently stayed a few nights at Penzion Bonifac with a group of friends. Great location still quiet, impeccable cleanliness, nice spacious rooms, friedly staff, free WiFi. Ideal for a vacation with friends or family alike. All the rooms named after a musician.

Clean, friendly and central

We stayed at Penzion Bonifac at the end of Jan 2014 for 3 nights during a visit to Jasna Low Tatras ski resort. The hotel is central, very clean and reasonably priced. The rooms are warm and spacious and furnished to a decent standard. At check-in we received 'region cards' that provided us free travel on the ski & aqua bus for the duration of our stay. We never booked meals or breakfasts for our stay but did have breakfast in the restaurant across the courtyard 'Atlas' a couple of times. The food was cheap and tasty and service friendly. The reception staff never spoke much English, and we never spoke Slovak, but plenty of smiles and a quick phone call saw another English-speaking member of staff come to help. Overall I would recommend this as a good low-cost base for this beautiful area of Slovakia.

Čistota penzionu je dobrá vybavení standartni špatný tv příjem penzion se nacházi v centru Liptovskeho Mikuláše přimo na hlavní cestě tudiš hluk je značný i v pozdních nočních hodinách stravováni vcelku dobré
