Pleasant surprise

I recently spent two nights at the Torysa. It was a wonderful stay. The rooms are small, yet comfortable. New flat screen TV in the room. Excellent breakfast in the lobby restaurant. The outdoor restaurant along side the portion of the historic 14th century stoned city wall made for an enjoyable evening with tasty Slovakian and European food. The town of Sabinov is historic, friendly, and worth a visit. It is a central town, near Presov, and a short drive to the High Tatras, and the quaint towns of Eastern Slovakia. Don’t miss the wooden churches!

What an experience

Please be aware that the Reception is not 24 hours open as advertised. There are moments there is no one at all or someone in a totally odd hours. The breakfast is a disgrace , very limited choices , slow service and a complete mess in regards to billing. Each day you will be charged differently and asked to pay extra even though our breakfast was included. The hotel would benefit from better cleaning too, we have found mountains of dust on the barns above our bed. The mattress is impossible to sleep on. Transparent bathroom window was the cherry on the cake. The only positive side was the central location in the town.

Wonderful Torysa

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Torysa Hotel in April. The rooms were comfortable, the wifi was very good, and the breakfast was splendid. The town of Sabinov is charming and a short drive from Presov. I highly recommend the Torysa! If my family ever returns to eastern Slovakia, we definitely will stay again at the Hotel Torysa.

Excellent Hotel

During a visit with extended family in Eastern Slovakia, I stayed at the Torysa Hotel and found the accommodations to be excellent. The hotel staff was very friendly, and went out their way to make my stay enjoyable. The morning breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was very good with a variety of hot and cold breakfast items. Each item was prepared to my liking. The rooms at the Torysa were comfortable and free high speed wifi is included. Actually, I found the wifi to be better than most 4 or 5 star hotels I have stayed. The Torysa spa looked inviting, but I did not use the spa during my visit. The town of Sabinov also has many historic buildings and churches to visit, along with good shopping options.
I plan to visit Eastern Slovakia again soon and will definitely stay at the Torysa Hotel.

Z jednodňového pobytu sa stal 3-dňový a absolútna spokojnosť so službami, ceny prijateľné, kuchyňa poskytne výber od slovenskej tradičnej po Multi výber a ako kuchár jej dávam výbornú. Pranie na požiadanie a za minimálne ceny.
