great place for kids

We stayed in this place for 4days and we really did enjoy it, especially our kids(8years and 1year).
1,Room was really big and clean and bathroom was so big and beautifull.
2,Area really nice, outside were two pools, one for kids and one for adults. Also there was a kidergarden, then i have to say that in summer must be great.
3,Restaurant is nice, food so so tasty and stuff really friendly and helpfull.
4,Inside gindergarden so so big and loots of toys there and games.
5,There is also gym, wellnes, inside pool and loots of more.
At last i have to say there is lots of activity you can do and you and children wont be bored.

Room view like in India. NOT a 4-Star!

Deluxe Room in 4* resort with the view worse than in India. Room and balcony oriented to the air vents, dirty walls and splash vents. No privacy from the outside. No chance of sunshine in the room due to orientation. Lights switched on all the time like in a basement. Forget any AC. Bathtub useless, with 1.2m length. No shower. Furniture cheap but elegant. Pools are nice but with no guard / watch. Feel free to drown. Ice hall is nice. Food is average, but definitely not 4*.

Not 4 star

The mattress was somewhat hard and there is noise from the main road.
There is no hook to hang up the shower head so You need to hold it when You shower and ether is no curtain or glass barrier to stop showering the bathroom floor.
Also the food was not well prepared. There is a Cesar sallad on the menu, but it is served with a strange mayonaise, not the dressing according the the original receipe. There were also no roasted bread croutons served.
This si definitely not a 4 star location.

Had to call the police!

Somebody mentioned they had issues with the level of service, perhaps even on management level, but I would like to share my experience. I left my car in the winter (-15C) switched on on the car park for about 3 mins. At the end I realised somebody switched it off, went to my car and took my keys. At the reception nobody knew what happened and after several minutes of investigation I found out it was the director himself! He refused to give me my keys back and I had to call the police! Would anybody believe this can happen in 21st century?

Quiet good located hotel close to dam

Hotel Altis with nice surroundings and many sports facilities within its ground is well located hotel close to Oravska priehrada. Hotel is really bigger than you expect at this part of a country. We had customer event there so everything was prepared before. Regarding dishes, beverages, coffee breaks, conference room etc everything was quite good. We had warm and cold self service buffet, no problem. Regarding accomodation, room was clean, big, simply but effectively furnitured with good bed and mattress. I slept well. But windows were very dirty. Some recommendation for the management. When you expect more than ten guests it will be fine to have more than one waiter and receptionist on the place. Four star hotel should have it I am sure. The same story is unpleasant and annoying stuff. If you have four stars I would like to feel there well. Your waiters were not been polite and smiling. Last thing, windows. It is also part of room so I think cleaning them regularly is mandatory when you are four stars. From my side only 3 from 5.
