Best holiday during the summer 2011!!!

We spent 2 nights in cottage no.12 and we had excellent time there. Mr. Zdenko Kozuch is a man who knows how to care about guest. After he gave us dry wood for barbecue we share a bottle of good Venezuelan rum with him. Then he sent his brother to drive us to close night club and then to disco for free. Accomodation is simple but clean with a nice touch of nostalgic. Surrounded by beautiful nature and wild river with great scenery of High Tatras. We must mention also a beautiful reception girl and other very friendly staff. You can visit a lot of attractions close to this hotel. We hope we get back this summer.

Dirty rooms, extremely impolite staff and all round nightmare.

Do not go here, there are plenty of other hotels in the area. The rooms were very dusty, bedsheets had a lot of questionable yellow spots in them. And the bed itself is like sleeping on a rock. Bathroom old and dirty with a sewer smell. Im pretty sure most refugees in europe live under better circumstances. People at the reception barely speak english and are very rude and impatient when you ask them something. I asked to go in another room because of the smell. And altough there were many free rooms, they couldnt place me in one. The way they said and handled it was very improfessional. Also very bad wifi. Food at restaurant is okay but nothing special, compared to most slovakian restaurants you pay a high price here for a small amount of food. This place doesnt give a single ..... about you.

Never again

Personnel was impolite and didn§t care about turists opinion about them. Rooms were not tidy. There was so much dust-dirt on the floor. The worst this was, that there was smell in rooms from the toilet. I don't recommend anyone to go there. One night it was difficult to sleep, since there was a Gipsy wedding.

great food and great fun

the proprietor, Dr. Zdenko Kozuch, reopened the kitchen for us late at night, stuffed us with excellent, traditional Slovak food, and hung out while everyone sang songs with visiting Georgians. no joke. one of the best parts of our trip. we'll go back! (did i also mention that the wifi was the fastest i used in slovakia?)

Katastrofální personál

Hotel se zdá být fajn. S přítelem jsme si rezervovali pokoj pro dvě osoby v hotelu. Po příjezdu (a našich 8 hodinách na cestě z Prahy) nám slečna recepční oznámila, že nejsme zapsáni v plánu a nemá pro nás pokoj. Vzhledem k faktu, že naše rezervace proběhla tak, jak měla a chyba nebyla na naší straně jsme samozřejmě požadovali náhradu v podobě jiného ubytování at už u nich nebo v blízkém okolí. Recepční mi nekolikrat řekla, ze máme bohužel smůlu, pokoj pro nás nemá a neubytuje nás. Předpokládám, že si představovala, ze se tedy zase sbalime a odjedeme zpět domu na vlastní náklady? Nepochopím.
Po úmorném domlouvání nám nabídla ubytování v chatě s naším doplatkem. Cena by se tak vyšplhala na jednou tolik, co jsme měli původně platit. To dává totiž rozum, chyba hotelu na naše náklady. Opět jsme odmítli. Přístup paní recepční byl velice neprofesionální, telefonovala před námi své kolegyni a komentovala naši nespokojenost. Výsledkem byl náš požadavek na hovor s vedením hotelu, které nám ve finále nechalo chatu za nám slíbenou původní cenu. Byla jsem rozhodnutá nepsat nic špatného vzhledem k dobrému konci, nicméně tímto přístupem jsem opravdu znechucená.
