Vila lipa

Me and my friends stayed in villa lipa for one night. It’s the perfect location for staying in lake bled so close to the center. We met Ayan when we arrived, she was super nice and friendly and so helpful with everything regarding our stay. She was such a positive person and very good at her job, also had great advice regarding our trip. We were also allowed to store our luggage the next day until 5pm which was extremely handy!!

Not recommended...

We had come to this stay with kazou holidays. We were very surprised at how bad it was there. First of all the rooms were very small and I was in a room with six and this room was clearly made for only 2 beds max... It was also very hot and not pleasant to sleep. We read that the hostess was very sweet, but this was NOT the case. She took your pillow when you put it on the floor to make your bed. She also kept threatening to call the big boss...very strange. We also met the 'big boss' and she was very sweet.

Not like in the pictures

It's clean, but very old. You can't change clothes in the bathroom without other people seeing you naked. The garden is not at all like in the picture. Completely harvested grass and trees not cut this year. Not child-friendly as there is nothing for kids.
The activities that should be for children in the area are still winter closed here last week of May

Great Location, Great Hostel

Lovely Hostel, great location, Eva was lovely and helpful for the information and booking us a taxi at 3:30 am! The rooms were nice, balcony made for a great addition and the bed was comfy enough. The bathrooms felt clean and were just about large enough for the floors. Kitchen facilities were great! My only gripe was the size of the showers but apart from that it was an ideal stay for touring the area and seeing the lake.

This place is amazing, and the staff make it even better!

Upon arrival I was greeted by Anja, who was friendly and enthusiastic to provide recommendations and general advice on how to best see the place and its hidden gems.
The room was clean, 10/10 in that regard, the bed was comfy and my room had a private balcony attached which only enhanced the experience.
The location is literally a 3 minute walk from lake Bled if you walk briskly, 5 minutes at a relaxed pace.
The following day I met Špela, another member of staff who I asked for help with a proposed plan to see Triglav national park. Špela was not only willing to help, but went above and beyond, asking me what my interests are and helping me to create a 1-day itinerary which ended up being the best experience of my entire trip. Špela did not have to help to this extent, but she seemed to really love my enthusiasm to discover the place and matched that enthusiasm completely.
The following day I decided I could not leave the place yet, and Anja once again understanding and accommodating, helping me to extend my stay over the phone, providing recommendations of places to see at every turn. These were all places I would have missed were it not for them.
In short, the place is amazing, location is perfect but the cherry on top is the staff who are just incredible. I would highly recommend this place.
