Nice Hotel, Great breakfast and coffee

Great hotel in walking distance of the center.
Perfect breakfast and friendly staff.
Actually the only thing … parking space, 5 or so are available, but most of the time you need to have a bit of luck… but not a big deal … just around the corner is a bigger parking lot, so all good and easy.
Would always recommend it for families !!!

Never stay at this hotel!

Do not stay at this hotel! Worse customer service I have ever experienced. Very rude and aggressive management. In complete shock how we were spoken to after asking a simple request.The room is extremely basic. More like a hostel. The bed is not mad for you. The furniture is cheap basic office furniture. The curtains don't cover the windows. Absolutely no comfort in the room considering you are paying such a high rate. Totally dissatisfied!

The worst 'hotel' ever.

Do not even consider staying here. It is literally the worst hotel I have ever experienced for a number of reasons and I will never stay at another Garni hotel if the Garni group allows their name to be used by such awful people. The staff are the main reason for the terrible experience but the hotel itself is also horrible. The receptionist, Katerina, clearly should not work in hospitality because she shouted at my wife when asked some simple questions. There was another man working there who is also incredibly rude and slightly aggressive. On our first morning at the hotel we were woken up by loud music coming from a TV in the breakfast area next to our room. When I went to see where the noise was coming from, I found the entire hotel empty (no staff or guests). The TV was in the breakfast room which was locked and so I could not get to it to turn it off. When we saw Katerina and the other man later at around 11am, I asked why the TV had been turned on and Katerina stormed off while the man told me that I should be up by 9am. This didn't make sense to me as no-one was there so I asked why he needed the TV on but he just got aggressive and said we should be awake by then. Even though the website says that breakfast is included, we were told that they didn't serve breakfast until July and our visit was in June. He said that from July he would be turning on the TV from 7.30am. The room itself is horrible. The curtains do not cover the windows so it is really bright first thing in the morning. There are cushions provided for pillows which are very uncomfortable. It feels like an old people's home and the bathroom is like a disabled toilet facility. You have to pay in advance so we lost 2 night's money as we left the hotel after they made us feel totally unwelcome. You can only check in after 5pm and must check out by 10am. The whole thing feels like a scam. You have been warned.

Quite simple room but clean

We had a large room with a sofa bed and a double bed. The rooms are simply furnished but clean and ok. Ours had a kitchenette area. there is a cafe there . When we were there we had torrential rain which is never the best way to visit anywhere !

bad place

staff was rude almost as if they don't want you there.
they made a mistake on the first day and put us in a smaller room its seemed to be on purpose like they where trying to downgrade us so they can sell the other room.
I double checked before check in the women said yes but after we moved to the room she disappeared.
they only changed our room the day later
we kindly asked for 2 hours later check out the women shouted on us it not possible
its not a hotel there is no room cleaning, no towel changing no receptionist no nothing it is an apartment hotel better off with an apartment then
rooms are noisy the hotel is located on the main road.
very dangerous to walk up to town as the main road has no side walk and its a ten minute uphill walk.
