'Champagne' villa

A bit out of the way, but this is a real 'penina' (Slovenian champagne) winery. Very quiet location, bit too quiet. Few guests and the staff were pretty scarce too. Good continental breakfast served with their very own penina.

World of sparkling wine

Vila Istenič is located in the relaxing coutryside, amongst vineyards and fields. There are numerous attractions and hiking trails in picturesque Kozjansko regional park. Our room was quite large and clean, with AC. Breakfast was very good. Mrs Breda was kind, she gave us many helpful advices. We have also bought Istenič's sparkling wine in the store in upper building. Wine is very good, recommend.

Zelo lepa vila- very beautiful villa- una vila muy bonita

Zelo lepa vila- sobe so velike in čiste. Zelo prijazno osebje. Toplo priporocam.
A really beautiful villa- all the rooms are big and clean. The staff is really nice and helpful. I recommend you to visit the Istenič villa.
Una vila muy bonita. Todas las habitaciones son grandes y limpias. El personal es muy amable. Muy recomendable.

Vila

The vila is recently renovated and they have done a good job. The nature allaraound its beautiful and ofers a great variety of possibilities for trips. I recomend trips to local wine cellars, if you have a chance, ask the stuff for directions to "VINSKI HRAM BERKOVIC".
The owner is very friendly and owns the oldest wine cellar in the country, from the year 1722.
At the vila they serve very good breakfast, also with some local meat products and the house made marmelade. But if you have any wishes they will try to make it happen. Make also sure to visit Istenic sparkling wine cellar on the estate of the vila.
I have almost no complains about the vila, although the windows in the room were very small. But we were out discover all the day so

Stunning hospitality

The Villa Istenic exemplifies all that is good about Eastern Slovenia. The newly renovated B&B is set in the Istenic vineyards, overlooking the rolling countryside of vines, maize fields and pasture. Our room was spacious, tastefully furnished and cool, with en suite bathroom. We ate a simple dinner of Istenic sparkling wine, snails, and ham and cheese in the restaurant above the B&B. Breakfast was fresh farm fare with the tastiest bread rolls, ham and fresh figs, washed down with strong coffee.
The wifi was strong and the bed was extremely comfy. Mr Istenic himself came to greet us at dinner. It was a magical stay
