excellent hotel.

Great 1 night stay. Nice safe secure storage for bikes with plenty of charging stations for ebikes. Excellent central location in Tolmin. We also ate here in the evening having the buffet, which at 25EURO per person for tremendous value. Breakfast was also excellent, good hearty food to prepare for a day on the bike. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, excellent stay.

A warm welcome

This is the most unfriendly hotel staff in history. They are so rude it’s almost funny. So don’t even think about walking up to the reception and saying: 'Hello, I booked a room," unless you want to be snapped at immediately.

The Service is incredibly good

Hotel Dvorec is centrally located in Tolmin. The room was very clean: Spacious beds, a spacious shower and enough storage space - all good. At breakfast there was more than enough of everything - whether it was fried eggs or special requests - the Service was courteously professional. A clear recommendation.

Bad karma

Me and my wife wanted to sit and to have a drink . There were no guests on the terrace except us , but no waiter came out from the restaurant , so we left after 10 minutes .

Nice hotel but not without its issues

I nice little hotel in the center of Tolmin but not without its issues. Room is missing a kettle/coffee facilities and has so many little lights shining overnight (TV, thermostat etc) Fridge didn’t work. Wifi was very flaky.
Bike storage is down a steep ramp into the basement but it’s very fancy and seems to be from a previous life as a dance room maybe.
Breakfast was OK but I cannot recommend dinner. It turned out to be self service buffet and nothing was warmer than tepid. You could have lots but I’m not sure you would really want to fill your boots.
I sound like the place was awful and it wasn’t - I just want to point out its issues.
