2 weeks of absolute pleasure!

We were all blown away by the friendliness and delicious breakfast every morning. The rooms were snug and beautiful, made you feel like royalty! I truly miss your warm-hearted welcome and your hospitality. Your b&b is at the top pf our list for our next visit to Cape Town. If you can see this Stella and Kobus, Thank you for everything! :)

Secure in comfort

Found this bed and breakfast by chance when my regular accommodation was not available in Cape Town due to the Mining Indaba and SONA events.
Wonderful and comfortable accommodation with the best hosts you can find. Nice large shower area.
Magnificent breakfast in a garden setting.
Free wifi for business use and secure parking.
Close to Cape Gate shopping mall and Virgin Active gym makes this an ideal place to stay for business.
Consider fitting an aircon.
Will be back.

English Garden and Tranquility awaits...

I was on a long safari through Southern Africa camping and such, and it was nice to happen upon this place run by a lovely artist named Stella and her husband Kobus. Around Cape Town there are many sterile-looking gated homes that make you feel like you're living in a fortress, but despite having great security (an electronic gate even for your car)-- once inside you're set free. It's really a beautiful place and the breakfast they provide on their garden patio is fit for a king --or queen.
I had a nice bath in the claw-foot tub in my room and it was splendid!
I visited in the beginning of February, when it was still quite cool, so I cannot say whether the lack of air conditioning would be a problem. Perhaps there are other suites with aircon. Another typically South African touch is the little carafe of Port by the bedside and the "rusks," to have with coffee, a biscotti like staple that no South African goes without in the "veld".
