Complete Failure of Customer Service and Guest Security
After accidentally leaving my AirPods in the ironing room, I reported the incident the very next morning. From that point onward, I had to keep chasing the hotel for updates. There was no sense of urgency, no proactive communication and very little indication that my concerns were being taken seriously.
I later learned that management and the risk manager had not been informed promptly. By the time any action was taken, I was told it was too late because the individual they believed may have been involved had already left the property.
I understand that hotels cannot guarantee that lost items will always be recovered. What they can control is how they respond. In my case, the response was slow, disorganised and deeply disappointing.
The hotel’s handling of this incident has completely destroyed my confidence in its customer service and security procedures. I would strongly encourage travellers to think carefully before staying here, especially if they expect their concerns to be handled professionally.

A Truly Memorable Stay at Centurion Hotel
What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service from the staff. A special thank you to Martha at the Front Office, as well as Lebogang, Aya, Lenrod, and Petter from the Food & Beverage team. They were all incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating, always going the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable.
A special mention also goes to Kamala, the General Manager. It was refreshing to see such a hands-on leader who is actively involved with guests and staff. She was always approachable, greeted everyone with a warm smile, and clearly takes pride in ensuring guests have a great experience.
The housekeeping team also deserves recognition, they did an outstanding job keeping my room spotless and ensuring everything was well maintained throughout my stay.
Another great advantage of this hotel is its location. There's a shopping mall just a three-minute walk away, which made it very convenient for dining, shopping, and picking up anything I needed.
