I stayed at Karos Gastehuis for 2 nights, and was very well received and enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

5 stars all the way

The property was beautiful with allot of character. Beautiful art works and decor
Our host was friendly and helpful
Our room was comfortable and I had the best bath, sitting by the fire with a complementary sherry before a lovely dinner

Karoo overnight

Great spot to get out of the city. Mandy is the all star. New Proe restaurant a nice addition to the village scene.

Not really value for money

Manager was not there at arrival. The assistant has a sloppy appearance. The first impression is wow!!
No sugar and no plunger coffee, the waste bucket was not cleaned out. only 1 sower gel etc for 2 people. No yogurt, fruit, juice & mushrooms serviced as ordered at breakfast. Service was very poor for what you pay.

Have a coffee station for your guests and a fire going when cold, and maybe a "spreadsheet" of what to see or do in Loxton
