Outstanding in every aspect

What a beautiful lodge, so very clean and so well maintained. We braaied there at night, the lodge supplied cutlery, crockery. The cleanliness is unsurpassed. But mostly, the willingness of the staff to assist is outstanding. We had to leave wheelchairs to be collected the next day, it was no problem for them. I cannot fault this lodge, it is an absolute must for travellers.

Do not expect breakfast over the weekend even though you pay for breakfast included if you pay when you make your booking

We booked two rooms for an overnight stay on our way back home. Rooms 6 and 7 were allocated. In our room the switch of the bathroom light was broken. So, no light in the bathroom.
We also booked on a bed and breakfast basis to find out that they do not serve breakfast on weekends!
Our coffee station had only coffee for one.
The rooms are basic and the Kitchen is not equipped.

Clean and Neat

Held a trade show. Hall was great and catering was good. Staff also very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Please note a few things. This Lodge is situated on the main road to Kuruman/Upington/Namibia and is very busy with trucks. They run 24 hours a day, so expect road noise. It is 2019 and the Lodge has no WiFi? Only serve supper and breakfast if prearranged.
Generally a good stop over if you traveling in the North.

Very neat, very clean, but with road noise

We have stayed here many times, as the rooms are clean, large and neat. Good shower. Bed is comfortable. Unfortunately you can hear the neighbours as the the rooms are built two rooms to a chalet, so ask for a room without neighbour. You can hear the traffic on the road, which is close by, but if the aircon is running, you can have a good sleep. Breakfast is yogurt, and cereal, juice and coffee ready in the room at booking in! Will stop there again!

Beautiful chapel

Klondike lodge hosted my cousin's wedding. As most of their guests did not come from the area, most had to search for accommodation, which Klondike has. The chapel where the officiating ceremony happened was beautifully set in a stunning garden with wooden pews and white walls. The chapel of dreams. Even the venue was in the same place. No need to drive around. Everything needed for a beautiful wedding was in one place.
