Molto carino

Ci siamo fermati a dormire qui prima del trekking nel drankensberg. Camera pulita e servizio gentile. Dall arredamento sembra un motel per coppie. Divertente. Consiglio come appoggio prima del trekking

Abysmal

There is nothing good to say about this "Lodge", which is in the middle of nowhere, except for their staff who try to make up for the shortcomings as much as they can. This lodge takes "self-catering" to the extreme, as there is only a fridge, a kettle, and a microwave in the room. No stove, no pots, no kitchen sink - and only one set of cutlery. Are we supposed to bring our own crockery and cutlery?
The bathroom is in desparate need of renovation, water is very nicely hot, though.
To accerbate the stay, there are constant, multi-hours power failures, which do not seem to be caused by Eskom.

Nice apartments close to Drakensberg / Sentinel

Stayed at this place for 2 night during our hiking visit to Drakensberg mountain. Sentinel parking lot is close, but the place is more affordable than the accomodations on or around the mountain.
The city itself is not too nice, but you can see anouther face of real Africa at least.
The owner of the place is very kind, his kids are cute :) There is a multimedia room for movies.

За неимением лучшего...

Очень базовый сервис, похоже на дорожный мотель для непритязательных дальнобойцев и их случайных спутниц. Кроватт мягкая, санузел простенький, за хлипкой перегородкой и почти без напора воды. С оплатой по карте возникли проблемы, пришлось ехать до ближайшего банкомата.

Sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber und einzigartige Lage

Diese Lodge ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Auch wenn der Stil des Zimmers nicht unser Geschmack war, hat die tolle Lage auf einem Berg alles ausgeglichen. Man konnte Sonnenauf- als auch Sonnenuntergang bewundern. Außerdem haben wir die Familie und die Tiere des Gastgebers kennengelernt und durften sogar seine Kuh melken, was zu einem tollen Erlebnis geführt hat.
Innerhalb von 20 Minuten erreicht man den Royal Natal Nationalpark.
