A small private hotel, beautifully decorated.

We stayed with 10 friends in Atholplace Hotel for 2 nights. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms. Nice bar. Swimmingpool outside. Beautifully decorated dining and sittingroom, overlooking the garden.
Wonderful dinner. With zebra underplates.
Private small hotel & villa in a big town.

Best hotel ever- literally

Absolutely incredible people and services and amenities. I don’t say this lightly: some of the best food I’ve ever had. Should be a standalone restaurant because I’d go all the time. Like really good food.

Our in-house guests at AtholPlace Hotel & Villa can enjoy items from our 'All Day Dining' menu, which is mostly comfort food for those that want to relax. On request it is also possible to order a 3-course dinner however. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the food.

Great time in Joburg

We were a big group from Santiago, Chile and we had a wonderful experience at Atholplace; from the concerned staff who took care of even the smallest details to the comfort, cleanliness, and spaciousness of the rooms. The hotel is lovely and is located in the beautiful and safe Sandton neighborhood. It features a restaurant for guests, a gym, a swimming pool, a bar and a beautiful setting. Ideal for relaxing with family and exploring Johannesburg.

Warm welcome and a comfortable atmosphere

From the airport we arrived at Atholplace after a 30 min drive. This is where the holiday feeling immediately began. We were warmly welcomed with a drink, our suitcases were brought to the rooms and we could relax immediately. The hotel has spacious rooms and plenty of nice places to sit, both inside and by the pool. Moreover, we have eaten delicious here. For us this was a relaxed start to the holiday.

Great place to relax and escape - Paradise in the middle of Johannesburg

Great Place to relax - just a paradise in the middle of Johannesburg
The service is outstanding - we were welcomed by the hosts and immediately felt at home. The rooms are very spacious and the design is outstanding. The food is delicious and hand made by the chef. We did have breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was excellent
The perfect place to relax at the pool and enjoy a weekend off. It is as well close to the Sandton Mall, so you could easily do a shopping tour or just looking around for the latest items.
