Quite relaxed experience

Nice secure quiet spacious accommodation right on the rural coast. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

This is a hotel we first went to 55 years ago. It remains rustic but is in very good order and gives you a wild coast experience without useless frills, preserving the very real touch with the South African beach experience outside the high rises and fancy hotels and eateries.
It is simple but very real and honestly stress free, staff is high service and amenable without being servile and plastic.
We recommend this to folks who want a magnificent beach, old world charm and style na d fully remote experience. Food is great, accommodations lovely and you can just get along with relaxation with zero stress, and no Joneses to keep up with. Kid you want to do the latter, Don’t come to the Transkei. No joneses, no fancy.
You can have a uniquely African experience at Trennerys, if that is really what you want.

Nice Views and Beach Access

Hotel located in good area but can benefit from some upgrades in terms of the facilities. Service is really good and beach access is awesome.

Couple retreat

We truly enjoyed the beautiful views and our stay at Trennery’s Hotel. The staff were superb and incredibly friendly, making the experience even more special. While the rooms didn’t quite match the value for money, they were clean and secure. Overall, we enjoyed every moment and made wonderful memories. ✨

Great break

We had a wonderful stay at your peaceful rural retreat.
The roads leading to you were surprisingly good and the hotel grounds and gardens are beautiful.
The efficient restuarant supplied well cooked and interesting food,the soups in particular were marvelous.
Wood recommend The Trennerys to everyone
