Perfect location close to Durban airport

A little gem very close to the airport with wonderful hosts. We had booked due to the proximity to the airport. You don’t need to get back on the highway but can take the back route that gets you to the airport in 10 minutes without having to worry about traffic and rush hour. The setting is beautiful with fantastic views of the Indian Ocean. The hosts are just fantastic and we had a lovely evening together. Definitely a place to come back to when visiting Durban and surroundings.

A joy to stay here

Deborah and Michael are excellent hosts - welcoming, engaging and informative. Not only did they recommend what to do and where to eat but they were interested in where we were going next and sent us recommendations for our onward travels. Their attention to detail is first class and nothing is too much trouble. The guest house is spacious and stylish and our room was light and very comfortable. Breakfast was super. Would highly recommend.

No ordinary guest house - Venti Dell’Est is an extra special home with beautiful rooms and a first class welcome.

I made reservations for my daughter and son in law to stay at Venti Dell’Est as part of their honeymoon to South Africa. I booked this guesthouse as it’s within a reasonable distance of Durban international airport. and the reviews where great. - I asked the owners to arrange the transfers which I emailed Deborah about at time of booking. My daughter sent me pictures of their beautiful room which had spectacular views and was spotlessly clean. What makes this a wonderful place to stay is the attention to detail and warmth of the owners. You could have a sumptuous breakfast should you require it (daughter and son in law did and said it was delicious), Thank you for everything.

A perfect stay close to the airport

Stayed one night before an early flight. Deborah, our host, gave us a huge welcome and provided refreshments after our journey. An excellent table was booked for us at a local restaurant. Our room was large and overlooked the ocean. We were even given a light breakfast before leaving at 5.45am. My only negative comment was the shower was a little tired and could do with updating to ensure it is the same condition as the rest of our extremely clean and beautiful room. Nothing was too much trouble for Deborah and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Delightful guesthouse

This charming guesthouse in beautiful surroundings exceeded all expectations and the hosts were most obliging. We had a lovely room and as well being an excellent place to stay it is also extremely handy for the new airport north of Durban.
