Friendliness meets relaxation

We had a lovely stay at Wilderness Metanoia. Hosts were very friendly and even gave us the opportunity to interact with their cute puppies. They went the extra mile in recommending places to eat as we are unfamiliar with Wilderness. The hot tub was a highlight and super relaxing.

Wilderness Metanoia

What a fantastic family holiday we had at Metanoia Wilderness! Highly recommended, true value for money. From Johan who welcomed us to cleaning and gardening staff - everyone friendly and helpful, will definitely rebook for another time! Chalets and garden in pristine condition, well done to all the staff.

Amazing Hidden Gem

What an amazing place. Everything i could've asked for and more. I've been to many resorts, and this is by far the best experience I've ever had from a self-catering unit. The hosts put so much effort into their units, grounds, and personal touches. Gerrit & Anneline treated us like family, and their local knowledge for places to go and places to eat is superb.
My wife and kids loved the amenities and we will definitely be back to stay again.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing break with breathtaking views with only a stone throw away from great restaurants and bars and a stunning beach, then look no further. This is the place to go !!

A little slice of heaven in the Wilderness

When we drove through the entrance gates, it was like entering a quiet corner of heaven. Surrounded by lush green lawns, trees everywhere and the Outeniqwa mountains as backdrop. The host lead the way to our chalet, where everything was just perfect (and my wife is not easily pleased!) We enjoyed a sunset swim in the pool, and then light the fire on the stoep with the sun disappearing behind the mountains. When load shedding started, we switched off the inverter and gazed in silence at the heavens above. The next morning my daughter and I took the path down to the Silver river where we experienced the real wilderness up close. Sooo sad that we couldn't stay another night as offered by our host, but we will be back for sure. This was the perfect ending to our week in the Garden Route and definitely the highlight of the trip.
