We really enjoyed our stay at Anook. The hotel has a very modern, stylish design, and we especially appreciated all the thoughtful details, the drinking-water fountains, pleasant scents in the hallways and in the rooms, complimentary ice cream after the spa, and the beautiful bathtub & shower in our room.
The rooms are on the smaller side, but for us that was absolutely fine. What really made this a five-star experience was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was exceptionally kind and helpful.
In particular, both the shift manager (I did not get his name) on August 18 and Jason (operations specialist) went far beyond what we expected. We were trying to find KTX tickets to Seoul, and everything appeared to be sold out. The front desk manager took the time to look into it and help us find a solution. The other helpful person was Jason who helped us find a swimming pool for my husband who is a competitive swimmer and wanted to get in a practice swim before our train later that day. Jason actually searched for swimming pools in the area and called around to help us find a pool with a proper lap lane and public access. That level of personal attention was extraordinary and made a huge difference to our stay.
The location of Anook is also very convenient, close to Haeundae Beach, restaurants and shopping, and within easy reach of the major subway station.
Overall, Anook is stylish, modern and well located, but the genuinely exceptional hospitality is what we will remember.

Very good location.
Great Onsen.
Lots of nice little free stuff like water, candy for kids and ice cream outside the Onsen.
Staff limited English, but really tried to help.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is really good too due to it being so close to the beach and a nearby metro station. There were a lot of convinience stores close by and the staff at the hotell were extreamly helpful and kind. So far me and my friend has booked this place twice and will be coming back there soon. Would really recommend this place.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing.
One of the male reception staff members was quite hectic and stressful to deal with. Whenever issues were raised, there always seemed to be an excuse rather than a genuine effort to resolve them.
The bathroom was also a major problem. The toilet was clogged, causing water and other things to overflow and spread across the bathroom floor.
Noise was another significant issue throughout my stay. There appears to be little to no soundproofing between the rooms and hallways. I could hear virtually everything – conversations, doors, footsteps, and other guest activities. Getting a good night's sleep was very difficult because of the constant noise.
Overall, the lack of proper maintenance, poor sound insulation, and unsatisfactory customer service made this a disappointing experience. I would not choose to stay here again.

One of the best properties we stayed at during our travels to korea! The public bath is super clean and well maintained with good amenities. It made the stay that much more enjoyable!
