an average hotel

a convenient hotel to spend one night there. The terrace leaves a view of the city. You have to change buildings to have breakfast through 7th. Decent breakfast without more.

Bedding needs to be reviewed.

If you are looking for a perfectly quiet place to escape the noise, this hotel fulfills its mission, and the breakfast is adequate to start the day without frills. Unfortunately, the overall experience was spoiled by bedding of incredible hardness, comparable to concrete. Sleeping proved to be a real challenge, which is particularly frustrating for a hotel of this category. It's a shame, as the setting is peaceful, but the basic comfort is absolutely lacking.

The man who checked us in was not very friendly but the woman at information was much friendlier. The area is a bit dead in the evenings, not much to walk to, but it is a short drive to the folk village and we had a great Korean bbq dinner just around the corner from the hotel.

Basic and clean hotel

A basic hotel in Andong. We arrived by car. The hotel is located in a block that is hard to find without satnav. Reception was basic but friendly. The bedrooms were spotless, but a bit battered. My sink corner had been broken off (repaired) and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked. We did not stop for breakfast as we were out early. My bed was hard, but I slept fine. The rooms are huge, but with not much in them.

A bit of a quirky hotel

The hotel was built in this area after a provincial government building was constructed. There is nothing to see except the folkloric village and limited restaurants open at night.
Reception is on the ground floor. My room was on the 3rd floor and was clean. No glass partition or shower curtain between the shower and the rest of the bathroom.
Free bottles of water provided in the fridge. Mutli- device charger was a nice surprise.
What was disturbing were the frequent sounds of rushing water and high pitched squeals throughout the evening and night. Perhaps due to toilets flushing next door or above the room?
The light control panel is by the door. This means if you wish to go to the Bathroom and need a light, you need to find the wall to turn on the bathroom light. There is no light switch near the bed and once again you must walk to the main control panel to turn the lights on/off.
Bring a mini flashlight, it’s easier.
