Great solution to visit Chuncheon

Structure clean and well maintained, the reception very attentive to all needs both for the use of common areas that tourist information.
The ideal location as in front of a bus stop that takes you everywhere.
The room clean as well as the attached bathroom.
Free use of washing machine and dryer, this is not always the case.
I recommend it.

Comfortable & Modern Guesthouse

We stayed at this guesthouse for 3 nights in November 2018. It is a family run business with a family feel to it, even though it is a 7 storey building in which the guesthouse occupies several floors. We lived on the 3rd floor (twin room). Facilities are modern, with floor heating available, washing machine in the room and password access. There is enough space for a big luggage case to be placed on the floor. Guests can use the dryer for clothes which is on the second floor.
The main reception, dining and kitchen area is on the second floor. The host is a young Korean lady and her parents. Although there was some language barrier as her parents have limited knowledge of English, they were very hospitable and helped in whatever way possible. Guests are allowed to use the kitchen area for cooking, so there were a few meals where we bought our own fresh food from a supermarket 100m down and cooked our own meals.
Recommended to reach the guesthouse by taxi for the first time you are there, as it is difficult to find the location by bus especially if you do not know Korean. The price for the taxi from Namchuncheon to the hotel is about 3700 won. Suggest to write the address in Korean and pass to the taxi driver. The hotel is situated along a main road.
There are buses to and from Namchuncheon station (bus 11 and 150) although the frequency is about 40min and 1 hour respectively. But from this guesthouse, there are many buses at the bus stop opposite the guesthouse to access tourist attractions such as Soyang Dam, Soyang Lake, Gugok falls. There are many buses as well (opposite the guesthouse) to take to get to the main Chuncheon Myeongdong area (around 4 bus stops only).
Overall, highly recommend to stay at this guesthouse if you are planning to visit various tourist attractions in and around Chuncheon.

Love this place

This is a family run place and the hosts are just brilliant. Breakfast is a healthy do it yourself choice of cereal, toast, eggs and fruit. The communal kitchen is modern and clean. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. We loved staying here and felt so welcome.
