Spring break

Very spacious pension with 3 amazing bedrooms and very comfy beds. Pedro speaks very clear English and Korean. Pedro does all he can to comfort his customers. He provides a very good and free meal at his cafe and gives fabulous coffee and spectacular hot chocolate. I would recommend staying if you are looking for the best of the best.

Short but incredible stay!

I stopped through Gwangju on a whim following a hiking trip to Naejangsan. Was able to get a dorm room for one night for a very inexpensive rate, expecting budget accommodations...I was wrong. Pedro's house was incredibly homelike, the staff were all incredibly accommodating and I had a great time. Definitely going to stay here when I go back to Gwangju!

Best cafe in Gwangju

We had a sublime evening. It is a calm and interesting atmosphere with antique vibes. Would suggest this place to everyone. We met Pedro, and he is well traveled, which helps him understand his customers (written by Jessica)

A night with friends I just met at Pedro's House

Pedro's House is amazing! It is like a coming home. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and people are super helpful and kind. There are great touches like essential oil bath gels & shampoo... kambucha.. coffee and herbal teas. The place is very sweet and clean. There are books from all over the world that you can read while you are there. I loved it! I stay there before I go to Seoul. Even though I have to get up early to make my morning train I stay at Pedro's because it is so special.

Everything is not bad. But it is located not that close to the subway station. (10-15min by walk). Bus station is much closer, so it will be more comfortable to take bus. And there is no hair conditioner in bathroom, so it is better to bring your own if you use it. Air conditioning was really good even though it was crazily hot in summer in Gwangju.
