Perfect stay

We came to visit Sierra de Guara with my partner for three nights. We were doing canyoning and as being tired in the evening we appreciated the calm setting of Casa Labata and the village Adahuesca.
Beautiful old building and cosy decoration in the rooms. Everything was really clean too.
Beautiful garden terrace to have a beer in the end of the day or breakfast in the morning.
Extremely friendly owner.

Enough to rest easy

Casa Labata is certainly not the best rural accommodation I have ever been to. But not the worst either. It is just enough to rest but without expecting to keep a memorable memory of him. My room just had the bed, a small table and a small bathroom
The town of Adahuesca is interesting and offers many services
Maybe at another time of year it is a lively place but at the beginning of May it is a very thawed place to stay

Owner absent!!!

I rented a room from 4-5 January 25. Entry from 3pm. We show up at 3.30pm and everything's closed. A sign with a phone number on the door. We called a thousand times and the phone didn't even dial... we rang the doorbell...nothing...everything looked very left...windows full of dust...the poster of the entrance 50 years ago...we thought we were scammed. Booking also could not contact the owner and I canceled the reservation with relocation option... at 19h in the afternoon. A mess. We went home. The next day I call the phone again out of curiosity. The owner answers me and tells me that he was in the restaurant next door at a family meal and that he had no coverage. Sorry??!!! Do you know that people have to reach you and you go somewhere without coverage?? A mess.

Inconvenient and expensive for what it offers

The beds are the worst. It was very hot, the room had a small window with little privacy. It could be accessed from the terrace. The fan is very noisy. You had to climb a very high step to get the shower.

Tijd om ermee te stoppen !

Het Casa Labata is een goed bereikbaar hotelletje in het "centrum" van het levendige dorp Adahuesca, aan de rand van de mooie Sierra de Guara. Het hotel stelt dat het het oudste hotel van de ganse Somontano-streek is en is daar fier op. Daar is misschien niet zoveel reden toe, want het hotel is eigenlijk onderkomen, onvoldoende onderhouden en de uitbating gebeurt allesbehalve professioneel. De tuin (annex terras) is overwoekerd, de receptie en "eetzaal" (waar weliswaar nooit iemand komt eten, denk ik ...) liggen er rommelig bij en de kamers zijn "heel eenvoudig". Onder de bedden lag het stof in dikke lagen en een snelle blik in de keuken van dit huis laat het ergste vermoeden voor wie het toch zou wagen hier te eten. De uitbater heeft er duidelijk niet veel zin meer in en corona heeft hem het leven ongetwijfeld niet gemakkelijker gemaakt. Onder deze vorm zou hij er beter mee stoppen. Mensen die hier - zoals wij - willen overnachten, kunnen dit zeker doen en zullen misschien niet té erg teleurgesteld zijn. Neem hier echter geen ontbijt, eet of drink hier niets, want dan zou de verrassing wel eens héél onaangenaam kunnen worden.
